1900 Park Fare Breakfast

I thought it was completely mediocre. I was disappointed in the eggs benedict (I had been so excited to try it), the rest of the food was so-so, and the characters were overally pretty hurried, although the Mad Hatter was funny.

I liked Chef Mickeys and Crystal Palace much more.

Bad service, terrible food, too loud atmosphere

OK don't talk about the food, it is the worst meal in my lifetime by far.

The characters at dinner are awesome (did I mention not to eat anything) but the breakfast characters are just ordinary. Tigger and Pooh, you are better off at CP, Alice was ok, Mary Poppins ok and the Mad Hatter not even Mad. Save your money and go somewhere decent unless someone in your family is an Alice in Wonderland fan.

We're going for breakfast in July. My daughter loves Mary Poppins (we just went to NYC to see the Broadway show, she is so obsessed!). I've read mixed reviews of this, but I'm not at all a picky eater and generally find something to eat that suits me. Not to imply that people who don't like it are picky! Just that my expectations food-wise at Disney are pretty low. I think that's the key to being happy with the food!

Utter chaos.

We went for DS 4th birthday - ON his birthday for breakfast because he loved those characters (incl Mary Poppins). The character interaction was so brief and we felt like we couldn't move to go to the buffet so that he wouldn't miss that slim chance of interaction. The food was, as mentioned above, mediocre. It was so noisy in there and kids running around, I felt like I was tripping over people.

We won't be returning for that one.

We have ressies for August too! But we will keep them anyways, since I like to try things for myself. For the record though, I don't think I've ever been to a character meal that wasn't chaotic .... they all are chaotic!

I have to be the odd one here and say that we loved it. My parents went with us and my mom has requested this breakfast again. We thought the food was good and loved the Mad Hatter. We thought he was hilarious.

I forgot to mention in my last post that we had ressies right when it opened so our food might have been fresher and maybe the restaurant was less chaotic at that time?

We loved it, too, for breakfast, but not dinner. Best breakfast food, better than CP, great characters and much more organized character rotations than CP. The Mad Hatter sat down with us for a long time, put his feet up on the table and had quite a long chat with dd! So funny!

I love the breakfast. We went in October. Made the ADR the day before for a late breakfast. It was the only character breakfast available (it might have been the only breakfast). Did TSM at HS then went to breakfast. Had amazing character interactions. My DD was afraid of the Mad Hatter who camed to our table right after we sat down. As my girls walked to the buffet to get a dessert before we left, we saw the Mad hatter, and at that point my DD was ready for him. He sent me to get my camera. Totally did not have to do that.

We had a planned ADRT for december (in fact we were meeting a friend their) and DD could not stop talking about the Mad hatter.

We have been a few times and the food is ok. We always find something to eat. The characters have always been great and have spent a good deal of time at our table. We will be there again in less than two weeks.

We have gone twice (Feb.09 and Sept.08) and LOVED it. We also went to CP and while we enjoyed CP food better, we enjoyed the characters at PF more. The Mad Hatter was hilarious and so was Alice. Tiger and Pooh were ok. And Mary Poppins was really great too.

Really?????

How disappointing.....I have ressies for August. humph. :sad2:

Don't be disappointed and DO keep your ressie. If you have a little girl she will absolutely love the atmosphere and characters. IMO Park Fare has one of the better buffets (talking Disney buffets now) I am never too thrilled with any of the food on property(especially when you consider the cost), but I think you will be fine with the Park Fare food. It does have quite a variety of food (dinner & breakfast) compared to other ts's. And really I think you can't beat dining with Mary Poppins! Take everyone's opinions with a grain of salt.....just enjoy yourself!:goodvibes:goodvibes

Wonderful food, great atmosphere and didn't notice that it was loud, certainly not as loud as Chef Mickey's. The Maple French toast is the BEST, even better than the fancy french toast at CP.

We do usually get one of the first reservations of the morning and in Dec we were seated first and were the first table as the characters came out, so we were in, ate saw all the characters and out in no time at all.

In fact, I loved it so much, we are going back on June 8th for my Birthday.

I have 2 boys 3 & 7 and I thought this might be a fun mix of characters for them. We do have CM for our arrival day, CRT for lunch, Cape May BC and this was our other meal on a water park day. Do you think boys would like it? Do I have too many character meals for an 8 day stay?

We took my cousin's 7 year old son to the Cinderella Dinner and he had a good time, but he was more about the food than anything. There is Mary Poppins, Alice, Mad Hatter, Tigger, and Pooh at breakfast.

I think only 1 or 2 of our meals for a 9 day trip were without characters, but we all love them and this is a great way to see them without having to wait in line.
