1900 Park Fare Breakfast?

We did a late ressie here and the food was terrible, dried out and stale and not replenished. The strawberry soup and bread pudding were both excellent and very fresh. They had one egg station open with a huge line...the place was so noisy and crowded I thought we were going to lose our minds.

Mary Poppins is in the lobby, Tigger, Pooh, Alice in Wonderland and the Mad Hatter are there.

I would not mind trying it again very early the next time but DH says no way....based on noise level alone he will not go back

All seemed good when we were there in October, and I dont remember it being loud at all, however we were deated in a side room not the main room so maybe that was the difference for us! Basically remember the same characters there as above poster stated but I remember Mary Poppins in the room visiting around.

The breakfast was excellent when we dined there last week. We saw Mary Poppins, Alice, Mad Hatter, Pooh, and Tigger.

We had breakfast there a couple of weeks ago. The characters were exactly as stated above, though Mary Poppins was inside for us.

Food was OK. I got a great omelete, but it took close to 20 minutes in line to get it. It was nothing special. We saw Winnie and Tigger at Crystal Palace, which was a lot better.

If you need to see Alice and Mary, then you should go. If not, there are a lot of other better, not so crowded places to go.

The one thing we like about this buffet is the omelete station. DH likes eggs over easy and they'll make it for him. I'm not aware of another buffet that offers this.

It's not a breakfast I would go out of my way for, if you're staying at a monorail resort, it's something to try.

Mary Poppins usually stays outside, if there's no line for her and she gets "restless" she visits briefly inside.

Now let me preface this by saying we were there when it opened, so that may have made a difference. The food was EXCELLENT, fresh and great!! This was one of our favorite meals. I didn't notice it being any louder than any other place were we ate. But remember, we were eating at 8am. We loved it.

We were just there this past Monday @ 11:10 and thought it was great. Mary Poppins was in going around the tables - since we were there late, most of the characters came around twice, which was great b/c my daughter just loves Alice.

We thought the food was really good. No bad experiences with this restuarant...we did with a few others.

This was one of our favorites. Even my DH commented he wanted to return to this one next year. We initially booked just so my DD Madison could see Alice.

We did go early, when it first opened - it wasn't overly crowded and the food was great.

The characters were Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland, the Mad Hatter, Tigger & Winnie the Pooh. They each came around to the tables for autographs & photos.

I think any place you ask about you are going to get positive & negative responses as we all have different tastes. ..and even the best of places will have an off day/time.

But we had great food, very good service & the characters were very interactive with our DDs.

We have been twice with early resis (8am). Each time was really good and fresh. The characters were the same as PPs. I suggest giving it a try!

Pooh and friends, also Mary Poppins was outside by the waiting area for pictures. There's also Alice in Wonderland too, the new mad hatter is mean though. I miss the old one.

The food is GREAT! i hope they still have the lobster eggs benedict.
They have a make your own omlette station too. Oh and the soft serve machine and toppings are out too.

It's a must for us every trip. I picked it as my birthday breakfast last trip. They gave me a crown, placemat, and birthday cupcake.

i recommend it.

We have a late ADR there for January for brunch. I thought the menu looked much better than Chef Mickey's. Plus we are big fans of Alice and the gang as well as Mary.

I usually here more good reviews than bad ones.

I've done this a few times, and it's ok. I would do it again, but I won't be doing it this trip (I've replaced it with 'Ohana). The characters seem to always be Mary Poppins out front, the Mad Hatter, Alice, Pooh, and Tigger. The food I thought was just ok. I liked Crystal Palace much better. I do however have a very limited menu due to health issues, and my much healthier friends loved it. It's a nice atmosphere but can be loud, but it's in a gorgeous place. Like I said, I wouldn't rule it out again in the future. I'd definitely give it a try if I were you!

The breakfast was excellent when we dined there last week. We saw Mary Poppins, Alice, Mad Hatter, Pooh, and Tigger.

I agree.......the food was fine.........didn't find it to be loud at all..........but, we had 8:05 reservations, so we were the third family seated..........

Mad hatter is a complete riot! This is DH favorite Character Breakfast, and while last week I did think there was less variety, the food remains excellant, the waitstaff super, and the manager is great! The omlette station always is crowded, but very quick, and super good. They also had Lobster eggs benedict Thursday, which was wonderful!

We have eaten there twice for breakfast and twice for dinner and IMHO the food does not reflect well on the GF. Food is the worst we personally have eaten at WDW, first times maybe our expectations were too high but having been before our second two meals we weren't expecting fantastic food and only went for the characters BUT I personally would never return again which is a shame because I liked the GF.

The thing is what I think is a good meal and what another poster thinks is a good meal will never be the same.

My advice is if you get the chance then try anything at WDW once and then you will know if the food and characters suit your family or not.

Very good breakfast and character experience. Don't EVER go for dinner. We just got back from a 10 day trip and the dinner buffet was not very good. Again, the characters were great but the dinner food was not.

We've gone several times for dinner and consider it one of our favorites.

Sorry to hear the negative reviews. Historically, I have felt that 1900PF had the best quality food at any WDW buffet. I hope it isn't slipping.:earsboy:
