Hi there...has anyone been to 1900 park fare for breakfast recently? I believe it was closed last year for renovations and wondering what changes were made....what characters are typically there?

Thanks so much....looking for a change from Chef Mickeys.....

I don't know what it was like before but our family loved it.
Our characters were Mary Poppins, Alice, Mad Hatter, Tigger, and Pooh.
The food was wonderful and great character interaction.

We were there on the 25th. The food was great, the character interaction was wonderful. The Mad Hatter alone is worth the price of admission. He almost had me in tears I was laughing so hard. He actually chased us down from the other side of the restraunt because we were leaving without saying good bye! (our server told us he's been known to chase down guests in the lobby if he finds them "missing") Of all the characters we have met, he was certainly the most entertaining (and least politically correct...) As soon as I get my pictures off my camera, I'll post them.

I think they opened up the buffet area because it seemed much easier to get in and out of than our last visit.

Mary Poppins, Pooh, Tigger, Alice and the Mad Hatter were all there for breakfast.

We love 1900 Park Fare and will be going again in April. The Mad Hatter is the funniest out of all the characters. The food is good too and a great selection.:thumbsup2

Hate to be the naysayer here, but of all the character meals this was our least favourite, maybe because we were seated in a long hall outside of the main dining room, and felt like we more in a cafeteria setting. Plus the characters were notably absent and when they did come around it was a quick visit. Other tables were verbally complaining. Thought the food was just okay, not much selection, and I had to ask for many things to be replenished which I have not found is typical in DW restaurants. However, we went there to see Mary Poppins who is my daughter's favourite character, and she did spend some quality time with her so seeing her beaming face made it all okay. We did 1900 Park Fare on our trip, and had loved it - so maybe it was just a bad day.
