1900 Park Fare as Wedding Meal

how much are you looking to spend? check out the various menus... citricos or narcooses at the grand floridian are great... the grand floridian cafe might be a good choice...

This was going to be my exact recommendation. If you are looking to spend about $300, then I would say Grand Floridian Cafe. At 1900 you are going to be with TONS and TONS of kids.

We had a brunch at the Grand Floridian Cafe the day after our wedding - I guess it was sort of a farewell brunch. It was great, it's nice and quiet, and the atmosphere is serene, romantic, and classic.

Were looking to spend around $300 for the 9 of us. I'm not sure what i was looking maybe a meal thats different but not with lots of screaming kids around. I think thats my main concern with the 1900 Park Fare. I like the idea of having breakfast there.

Maybe i could have the best of both worlds and do breakfast or a dinner the day before and then do Portabello Yacht club for the wedding.

Does anyone know if and when Portabella Yacht club with change hands?

Not sure exactly if they are changing hands - Definitely a refurb/reconcept/retheming. I wonder if it will coincide with the September 27th closing of Pleasure Island?

I'd love to hear an update on your planning. Any decisions made yet?

It really depends on what your looking for and only you know that. If you want a fun then this is good although If I was picking something like this it would be Chef Mickeys. Not to me spells fun & Disney like Chef Mickey's.
But if you wanted more adult then I would pick Calif Grill, Narcoossee's , Citrico's.

I know that I wanted characters for the wedding reception, but at the price of $800 each for UP TO 30 minutes, that wasn't going to happen. But by going to 1900 park fare, I was able to have 5 characters who spent as much time at our table as we wished for the price of 3 dinners.
