We had reservations at Cape May on our Epcot day, but my daughter really wants to go to 1900 Park Fare instead. What would be the best time to do breakfast at 1900 Park Fare? Would an 8:05 reservation work or should I do a 10:30? We will be going March 12th which is spring break..I was thinking of being at Epcot for RD, getting FP's for Soaring and Test Track and maybe getting in a ride or 2 before heading over. Can you take the monorail from Epcot to the Grand Floridian? Thoughts?

It really depends on where you are staying. If at the Epcot reorts it makes sense to grab spme FPs and head to GF via monorail. You'll need to transfer at the TTC. If you are staying elsewhere I'd recommend the earlier time. Otherwise you'll be wasting a lot of time in transit.

Were staying at CBR. My only concern is if we do an early time we will miss RD and by the time we get to the park it we will have missed getting early fastpasses and we will have longer wait times. This is our fist time going during spring break, so I'm not sure what to expect.

Taking the early time means you can travel prior to Epcot opening. If you do the opposite, the amount of time you waste travelling and the amount of extra time you may wait in line is a push IMO.

If total travel time eating into park time is the concern, I'd say to do the early breakfast at 1900PF. Bus from CBR to MK; resort loop monorail or boat launch to GF - if the boats are running that early, that's the fastest option. Afterwards, monorail from GF to TTC, then change to the Epcot monorail line to Epcot.

But you will not get to Epcot until at least 9:45, maybe even 10 am.

If getting the Epcot FPs is the bigger concern, I'd say go from CBR straight to Epcot well before RD (especially since they are no longer doing "RD" at Epcot; you need to be at the front of a turnstile line before the park opens). Grab 1 set of FPs. Ride something. You'll need to be out of Epcot before 10 am to take the monorail from Epcot to TTC, then transfer to the resort monorail line to GF for a 10:30 breakfast. In effect, you are making this an early lunch break. You probably won't get back to Epcot until 12:30 or so.

Final alternative, of course, is to go to 1900 PF for dinner instead........ Completely different set of characters, though. And there are so many good dinner options right there in Epcot. Decisions, decisions......... ;)
