We have visited most of the buffets except Donald and Park Fair. I noticed that Park Fair is more expensive than the other character buffets. What makes it so special for dinner?

We were just there two weeks ago after not eating there since '99. The food is very good for buffet food, IMO it's 10 times better than the food at Chef Mickey's. The character interaction is great, the seaters try to seat the children o n the outer side so that they can be closer to the characters. We actually wound up going back there for breakfast on our departure day the atmosphere was so good. Breakfast is just as good, plentiful selection, nice variety.

I have to agree. We went again in February after a two year hiatus. The food is SO MUCH BETTER than any buffet I have ever had at WDW. My children loved it as well - so much variety and a cut above average.

The atmosphere is not as chaotic as other buffets - it really is one of the few buffets we can all truly enjoy.

You will love it! :flower:

We would agree! The quality of Chef Mickey's dinner is no where near this one. princess: pirate: :earboy2:

Would you say it is better than Cape May? We aren't that interested in the characters since my little ones aren't little anymore and get embarrased from the characters. We are considering trying Cape May again after skipping it for a few years since we thought the quality had dropped. I definately don't want to do Chef Mickeys again.

Which would you pick - 1900 Park Fair or Cape May?

1900 Park Fare is better than Cape May for dinner. IMO both are equally good for breakfast. The nice thing is at 1900 you get some neat characters for breakfast. Pinnochio, Geppeto, Mary Poppins, Mad Hatter, and Alice. princess: princess: princess: princess: princess: princess:

I'm one of the biggest PF fans around (always do breakfast and dinner at least once pre trip), one of the biggest GF fans too.

But if you're not interested in characters and are interested in just the food, the restaurants are about a draw. If you lean towards some seafood, Cape May. If you're looking to be a little adventurous, GF. Both have a pretty outstanding dessert selection (bread pudding at PF and oreo bon-bons at Cape May are most popular).
