Now that LTT won't be serving a character dinner during our trip, I'm wanting to find another character meal. It will be DH, my DD 14, her friend (15) who's never been, and myself. We're already eating 2 other character meals at Crystal Palace & Cape May. I know 1900 PF has different characters and the menu looks like they serve a little more options. Chef Mickey's has the unique atmosphere with the monorail whizzing by and of course Mickey will be there. We've only eaten breakfast at both, so give me some advice about dinner.

TIA!

CHEF MIC'S ALL THE WAY!!!! IT'S THE BEST!

OP, I have to vote for 1900 Park Faire. The offerings there are fantastic and the character interaction is far less chaotic than at Chef Mickey's. You can look forward to a more laid back character meal at 1900 than at CM. Have a fantastic time!

I've had dinner at both recently and honestly the food was better and hotter at 1900 Park Fare. Chef Mickeys can be a bit more hectic and loud.

I would vote for 1900 Park Fare as well. We're eating there for my mom's birthday dinner coming up in a few weeks, and we're super excited. More extensive menu, calmer atmosphere, great character interaction... I've eaten at Chef Mickeys and although we enjoyed it a lot, it's not a place I'm dying to return to. I know a lot of people love it there, but for us it was just okay.

I have ADR at 1900 PF for 10/28. Trying somewhere new. The menu looked appealing and we always try to eat somewhere we have not been. We have only done Chef Mickey's for breakfast. Love character meals but Chef Mickey's can get crazy.

I 4th 1900 Park Faire - for all the reasons already mentioned.

And one more - my teenaged daughters would also say 1900 over CM!

I vote 1900. We love Chef Mickey's for breakfast, but dinner was disappointing.

Ck. Allears.net

I didn't see anything in allearsnet. What am I missing??? We have never had dinner at LTT because my DH hates the menu. If the menu is going to change I would like to read about it because we may be able to have dinner there on our Dec trip. DUHH.. found it. Looks like change won't happen until 01/05/09. Guess no LTT for dinner on this trip either.

My vote is for 1900 Park Fare. I've had both for dinner. The food is good and the character interaction was more entertaining for me. But beware.....Lady Tremaine can be rather loud!!!

Have a magical time.:goodvibes

1900 Park Fare!! The character interaction is the best!! I ate there last week, and had a blast!

I have only been to 1900 PF, but I have to say that it was probably my favorite restaurant there!

I will be trying out Chef Mickey's in December, so this could change!

Where has it been confirmed that LLT is no longer a character meal? :confused3

I also had the dining reservation agent read it from an internal memo to me when I was booking it for my late December vacation. She asked me to hang on for a second & then came back. She read that it would no longer feature characters starting Jan. 5 or 6 (I can't remember for sure). She sounded pretty bummed about it & didn't know why.

I stink with abreviations what is LLT?

I vote for Park Fare. We have been there 2 times. I enjoyed the food. I can't wait for the chance to have strawberry soup again. The characters were fabulous. I loved the step sisters. Be sure to refer to them as the "evil" step sisters.

I so concur with this. I hated Chef Mickey's for dinner but I still love it for breakfast. We still have yet to try 1900 Park Fare but I really want to since so many people say they love it. Might have to change some ADR's for Oct :)

With the girls that age, I'd say 1900 Park Fare also. We liked CM dinner food better, but enjoyed the characters more at 1900. I liked both for the buffet, but dd12 isn't much on salads and there was a lot of salad offerings at 1900.
