Do you get an extra 10 days for making ADR's for being a resort guest? and if yes, shouldn't it be 180 minus 10?

You can book ADRs 180 days out as a resort guest. Not quite sure when non-resort guests can do them because I always stay on property.

Our 180 days came up this past Sunday and we were able to make our ADRs for that day. In order to make it for the following 8 days of our stay, I had to enter our reservation number which opened up the "plus 10 days" and I was then able to make all my ADRs through date of departure. My guess for guests not staying on property is they have to make ADRs day-by-day.

AHHHHH....so reservations for the length of our stay opens up 180 days from your check in? You don't have to call each day....

Yes, as long as you currently have a reservation and are staying on property

Everyone can book ADRs 180 days before the day of the ADR. Anyone with a reservation at the WDW resort can book their ADRs beginning 180 days before their check-in day and book up to 10 days of ADRs. That's where the "+10" comes in.

And last year when I was staying 11 days I was able to make 10 days worth of ADRs on day 180 from the start of my vacation, but had to get up the next day to make day 11 ADRs.
I happened to be out of town this year when my 180th day rolled around and I was unable to use my IPhone to make my ADRs - I was unable to find on the screen a way to input my ressie number and make day 181, 182, etc., the IPhone screen only let me do 180 - but after an hour of trying (online ADRs open an hour earlier than the phones open) I was able to call on said IPhone and get everything I wanted.

I was just about to answer the +10 question before I saw your response. This answer should be placed on dining thread sticky, if it's not already there, as this makes it plain and simple to understand the 180 + 10.
