180 minute line-FPs gone by 9am on a TUESDAY

Today is a Magic Morning day! :) That's so amazing - how they ran out by park opening hours!

According to disneyland.com, it isn't. Are you sure it's a Magic Morning day?

Besides, according to this thread, FP machines aren't even available during Magic Morning days. I think you people are all blowing smoke. I think I'm going to DL to get a Star Tours FP right now. :lmao:

:lmao::lmao::lmao: That's it. I'm gonna leave work and go confirm it myself! :lmao::lmao: (I wish!)

Good question Pink B .... It would be sad if one would need a fast pass in order to collect a fast pass .... :faint:

That sounds like the punch line to the question, "How crowded was it?" :rotfl2:

:lmao: I am so using that line the next time I am ever in DLR during a crazy busy day.

I am now mentally preparing myself for August....
at least I already rode the new ST twice so I won't be too heartbroken. My friend might not even care that much so we'll see! But it is sooo fun, I would love to get on it multiple times again.
I am just glad at LM has very short lines at the end of the day and fast moving lines (from most reports of DIS members).

Ok, but how long is the line to get ST FPs first thing in the morning?

Re: the on a tuesday part.

Remember that the locals- so cal and so cal select esp. are NOT blocked this week and the next two weeks on Monday/Tuesday. So this was actually very expected on the parks end...hopefully by the end of june when the selects get blocked again, it eases a bit during the week *but* only a bit, I'd presume.

No idea about today, so I can't help clear up that mystery, sorry.

But I can report my experience from yesterday (Wed 6/8)

Sl Cal and So Cal Select were both blocked, so no huge cheap local passes effect to account for.

Got to the DL entrance plaza about 7:55 am and immediately headed back to grab FP's for ST. There was a looong line, but CM's were at the machines (ala WoC FP's) so it moved quickly.

The time stamp on our FP's was 10:15 am with a return time of 12:50 pm.

By the time we headed back to Tomorrowland to use them (not sure of the exact time, but early afternoon, definitely before 2:30 pm) ST FP's were gone for the day and I think the posted stand-by wait was 90 minutes.

Hope that helps.

Edited to add:

Oops, didn't notice my goof until I re-read my post.

The time stamp on our FP's was actually 8:15 am, with our next FP being available at 10:15 am.
Return time of 12:50 pm was correct as I originally posted.

Makes more sense now, yes. ;)

Yes, thank you. That's the sort of thing I'm interested in knowing. :)

Usually Thursdays are MM days. Last night was a grad night. So no MM this morning.

DS and I were there for rope drop on the 9th. Headed straight to st fp, return time was around 11:30.
