What I don't get is why this subject is still verboten on the main Dining board if it's been confirmed by a reputable source like All Ears...

It would be nice for one of the moderators to actually give a reason instead of just closing off the thread. I agree 100%.

I disagree... Restaurants have been so crowded and a LOT of people frustrated during Free Dining that they have gotten a ton of complaints. And the Park hours was just ridiculous, especially since they are jerking us around on Fantasmic. I have a friend who is a waiter at HOB, and who knows waiters at several WDW restaurants. HOB has been dead, but his friends at WDW are reporting huge waits at most of their restaurants. 180 allows those who plan to actually get their ADRs in.

I dont see how going from 90 to 180 will have any effect on what you said? the waits will be the same, HOB will still be dead.

Because many of the people complaining about the lack of available ADRs will plan ahead 180 days. In other words, more people will book right at 90 days, than will at 180 days... thus those booking at 180 days, the people complaining, will have a better opportunity to get their ADRs.

Free dining will help determine if HOB is dead or not... it isn't dead during non-free dining, but usually fairly crowded.
