I know BOG is popular....that's why I'm booking at the 180 day mark. Or so I thought....

Where are all the late Feb/ March 1 ressies? Not a one showing up.... Never since it first opened have I had this happen. Are they hanging on to some times and not releasing all at once?

HELP!
:)

I couldn't get on the 180 day mark either, but was able to get a month or so later. I still can't get the time I want, but for now it will work.

Are you trying to get it for lunch or dinner?
My 180 day mark is coming up, and I'm wanting BOG lunch our last MK park day.

I was on the computer at 6AM at 180 days out and got PPO BOG breakfast for our first park day and a lunch for our 5th day. close to perfect time for lunch - 12:40PM. trying for BOG lunch later in your trip might make it a bit easier; try for that one first, unless you have ADRs that are more of a priority for you.

good luck.

You should book the harder Adrs Later in your trip ,if that doesn't work keep trying , till the trip , and the last week try real hard people double book Adrs and have to give some up or will have to pay10 dollars a person

I was able to get breakfast, but nothing at all showed up for dinner. I'm super suspicious that the powers-at-be didn't release the BOG dinner times at 180 mark. Still checking daily and nada.

After I originally posted this, I was up at 6am of a newly 'available' day and nothing for dinner. Weird- thought it was a browser issue & switched to another, still nothing. I'm wondering (I haven't tried yet) if they are reserving via phone for now.

The same thing happened to me for my December trip. I actually couldn't get any of the ADRs I wanted for the times I wanted. However, by checking back frequently, I have eventually gotten all of them. As a PP said, people will cancel their ADRs a day ahead of time so they don't have to pay the cancellation fee. I've also read that things open up around 25 days before the trip as people cancel the entire trip as to not pay the cancellation fee. At least I think it's 25 days. Just keep trying and something will open up eventually.

Do ADRS work like Fast Passes?
So if you are staying onsite and have a resort stay booked you can actually book a dinner reservation at 180days+length of your stay? (so some people could book a reservation at 190 days out if they have a 10-day vacation planned?)

If so . .that is probably the issue. You think you are first in line, but you aren't there have been dozens of reservations that were booked for the same day you were trying days BEFORE.

Couldn't get reservations either. I'm 2 weeks out and they had a BoG opening for the exact breakfast time we wanted....Check every day.pixiedust::dog2:

I couldn't get lunch on my 180 day either. I got mine about 2 or 3 weeks later. When I finally did get it, there were tons available. I think they opened more up at that time.

No. ADR's don't work like Fastpasses, you don't get 3 per day and if you use them you get more. If you book a Disney package, then yes, you do get the 180+10. So if you're waiting for that 180 mark, you're already 10 days behind when you get there.

The big thing is, people still book numerous meals for varying time slots (I believe they made a change so that you can't book 5:00pm at every restaurant, for example and hoard it.). Does that mean people don't hoard ressies, no. But as they look at menus and how they change or read reviews or whatnot, people gradually start letting go of coveted places and time slots as their planning progresses.

And you are right, every day is someone elses 180+10. It's not like tickets to a concert where they go on sale at 10am tomorrow morning. This is a rolling system with people being eligible each day, so yeah, it's not like there's necessarily a clean slate for dining options.

Ahhhhhhhhh.....180+10 makes sense now as to why we see nothing (We are AP holders, so don't book full packages...). I'm still thinking there might be a later release, so will keep checking. Like other people, we have seen BOG open up the day before as people don't want to pay no-show fees. But I like to try & plan better than that most of the time.

Good luck all!

Yes. There is a downside to being able to make reservations easily through the MDE or website. People can just grab reservations for a lot of different times and a lot of different days and just cancel them later. Shame really, but that is the system we have. I cant think of a fairer one without being restrictive.

I am sure many people just book a hot ADR like BOG for as many days as they can and then decide later which day will be their MK day. That means some will open up ..but you have no idea when. Keep looking as the dates get closer.

I am coming up on my 180 days for an offsite trip so I am sure I will run into the same thing for some ADRs.

Going in January. Was able to get lunch but no dinner...still trying

Best advice is to keep checking, more along the lines of constantly checking. DH wanted Teppan Edo one night during our last stay and I kept checking, like every couple of hours till our trip, I landed it right before bed the night before we left. So keep checking.... Good Luck and Pixie Dust..pixiedust:

Back in the good old days, before you needed a CC guarantee, we would make a FP for coffee and dessert around 2- 2:30pm. But we dont want to risk $20 if we don't feel like at the last min. Are walk up available anymore?

Lunch or dinner? I got two separate lunch reservations for the beginning of March right at the 180+10 mark, with lots of availability.

I got late a dinner (saw a couple other late ones). So if you don't mind eating after 8pm maybe search for that. Good luck!
