180 days + 10?

I've read something about this but didn't have much time, and now I can't remember where I read it!

If I read it right, does this mean people staying in a Disney resort can book their ADR's 190 days in advance instead of 180?

If so, is this with any ADR?

It says you have to book 180 in advance normally.Does this mean the exact date, or if you can't get through, can you ring the next day, which would be 179 days in advance?

Sorry if that doesn't make sense! lol I've got nothing left to do now until I can book my ADR's.

Oh, also, online check in. I'm leaving from Gatwick to stay at POP. Can I do this? What about on the way back from Sanford?

p.s Another question lol. I'll be travelling back from Sanford to Gatwick. Can I do anything with my bags so I can go to a park for the last day? I don't think I can hand them in at POP since I'm going to Sanford? What about Downtown Disney?

Disney are currently implementing a new ADR system so the booking window is currently reduced. When it is completed it will revert to being able to book upto 180 days in advance.

There used to be a perk that if you were staying onsite you could call at 180 days from your check in date and book 10 days worth of ADR's at that point. I am not sure if the new system will allow that.

Just to add to the above, you can book at less than 180 days although some of the more popular restaurants get booked up very quickly so the sooner you can do it the better.

You could always ask Bell Services at Pop to look after your bags for you until it is time for you to go to the airport. If you are flying from Sandford then you can't use Downtown Disney as that is only for Virgin Atlantic. I know there is one of the other airlines that offers a similar service but can't remember which one it is or where they do their check-in.

Thomas Cook don't do online check in so you can't do that either way.
