180 Day Mark is upon me but...

I can't book my reservation for January 2011 yet because the rates haven't been released... So how do I book my ADRs ahead of time? When I go to the site, it tells me that I can't book past January 3rd because I don't have a resort reservation.

This girl has been planning her dining schedule for a solid year and I am not missing out on Le Cellier!

Check out the thread about the 190 day glitsch. You're late as you can book at 190, not 180!

I think there must be multiple glitches because now it's telling me that I am picking an invalid date.

Wow, that stinks. If you can get the glitch to work, you could book daily. Again another reason why I'm a happy DVC member. I booked my January 2011 vacation last month. (I also booked my May 2011 vacation in June 2010).

You call phone WDW directly and they can make them for you. You dont have to be staying onsite to make a reservation, you just have to have it for the +10.

But you can only do the 190 days online, not by phone. 180+ 10 can be done by phone but you'll be after all the people who already tood advantage of the glitsch.

I am in the exact same boat you are.... waiting to book my Jan 2011 vacation when rates come out, but will need to do ADR in two weeks! The hard part is that we do the Deluxe dining package, but we will have to pay up front for things like CRT without our reservation in place! It's sooooo annoying! I think this will be the one and only time we go in Jan instead of Nov! This stinks! I just can't believe that Disney can't get their rates and booking up online for Jan, yet they will take reservations for dining in Jan!!

Don't give up yet last year for our early January trip I was able to change my California Grill reservation about 4 months out and we still were during prime fireworks time. I would try booking with the 190 day glitch again one of the posts in the thread that discusses the glitch tells you exactly how to do it if not I am optimistic that you will still be able to get some great ressies by calling at 180 days out.

That's what we did. The CM that booked it, told me to call back when the rates are released for an adjustment. She also told me that we could call and have a promo applied to our reservation up to 45 days before we arrive (we are hoping for the 4/3 promo again).

Since we're on the topic, let me throw this in:

I'm renting points from a friend of mine for Jan 2011. I've heard speak of people trying to add DDP but being told they have to wait til the rate and prices come out officially. So my questions are:

Is this true? Do I have to wait to add my DDP to my DVC booked reservation?

How do I make my ADRs if I'm not on the plan? I know I can make ADRs no matter where I'm saying, but what do I do if I call for my ADRs when they ask if I have the plan? Say "I'm going to add it later"? Does the online reservation system ask if your on the plan?

Assuming I can't add the DDP yet, but still make the reservations saying I don't have it, how do I let them know when I add it? Do I even really have to let them know?

Sorry if this is confusing, just trying to get this all worked out

There's hope, I booked LeCellier 160 days out with No problem!! Actually 2 reservations. Only thing one was 4:15 and the other was 8:15. We kept the 4:15.
