Our 180 + 10 is coming up.
Our trip looks like this:
Days 1-2 WDW
Days 3-6 DCL
days 7-10 WDW

We split the reservations at WL and GF. Can I make reservations for our second stay when our first 180 + 10 comes up even though it's 2 seperatel reservations? Or do I need to wait for my second 180 + 10 to open up?

TIA!

As Princess Jets said above, it's two separate reservations, so there will be two separate reservation windows.

The term "180+10" that gets thrown around so often here is only accurate if you have a 10 day or more stay. The more accurate term is "180 + length of stay, up to 10 days".

You can also go ahead and make one reservation that extends over your entire trip and then use its confirmation number to book for the length of your stay, then cancel it once you're inside the 180 day window of your later reservation. You'll have to pay the deposit on the first reservation but it'll get refunded once you cancel, and your ADRs will remain intact.

That's a really good idea! So just book one long reservation that overlaps the other two. Make the ADR's and then cancel the long res?

Yep. It gets you the full +10 which could help if you're going during a busy time and are wanting something that sells out fast. Of course if your trips are longer than 10 days you'll still have to book day 11+ as the calendar moves forward.

Agree....very silly. I'm not sure there's a single restaurant at Disney worth all that.
It got me the chef's table at V&As by artificailly extending my +10 period, so it's completely worth it for the 10 seconds of effort to make a reservation and click cancel.

I think this may be worth it for me. I have quite a few hard to get reservations that are time and date sensitive. Thanks so much for the tip!!
