Trying to figure out the 180+10 ADR window...I've never been able to take advantage of it through any of our Disney trips (staying with our own DVC points or cash). We have a trip coming up on November 20, and I went to look for the 180+10 date today (I could be off by a day), it was a no go.

Anybody have any idea why it appears to me to be non-existent? I'm 100% sure it is user error though.

Thanks,
Matt

5/24 is 180 days from your check in date. On that day, you can start to make ADRs for your trip. You can make ADRs for the length of your reservation up to a max of 10 days.

The 180+10 does not let you book 190 days before you arrive. It allows you to book reservations 180 days before your check-in date, plus make reservations for the rest of your trip (up to an additional 10 days) that same day.

If you are staying off site, you have to make reservations for the first day of your trip 180 days before check in. Then you have to go in the next day and make reservations for the second day of your trip. Etc. The 180+10 just opens up the second, third, fourth, etc. days of your trip on your 180 day mark.

So you still have to wait until 5/24 to book any ADRs. But you can do your whole trip on that date, rather than going back in on 5/25, 5/26, etc.

That makes a ton of sense, thank you for straightening me out!

The one thing to look out for is if you are doing a split-stay. The MDE app and online booking site will consider those as individual reservations. However, if you call MS, they will take care of all of your reservations for a whole trip if you're staying at different properties.
