My twins just turned 18, so now they are not "children" in the room. Is there an added fee for 3 adults in the room at Disney hotels instead of 1 adult and two 17 year olds? Thanks!

The extra charge is incurred when there are more than 2 adults in the room. If you have 3 adults, you will be charged the extra fee for one. The fee is $35/nt per extra adult for the deluxe resorts. I'm not sure what the charge is for mods and values.

Yes. PP is correct, for any 18+ adults in the room after the first two, you will incur a per night charge. I want to say its $25/night for mods, but don't quote me on that.

Yeah it kind of sucks. It certainly adds up. Taking just our youngest for our next big trip and we have to pay extra for him. It'll be less than $200 but that's still enough to pay for a nice TS dinner.

It really does! We're occupying the same space that we always have, but oh well...baby showers are great for babies, but I think that the real big bucks come when the children are "adults" and in college.

Totally! I've currently got four in college, although two are totally independent, and one will start next fall. I just look back fondly on when they were cheap. Honestly though now most of our trips are just my husband and I, so our trips are cheaper and a lot more relaxing. I did jokingly tell my youngest he had to pay the extra adult fee if he wanted to come.

It was a joke and it was funny! Ha
Some of the rule followers take this stuff too seriously!

I got your joke. I kind of think that 18 is too low to be considered and adult. A lot of 18 yo are still in HS. In my state, you are not an adult until 19. So you can't sign a lease or buy lottery tickets, etc at 18.
