My son-in-law is a truck driver. It looks like for our 2020 trip, it will work best for my daughter, my grandkids, and me to fly to MCO from Dallas and have him deliver a load to Florida and meet us there. Anybody have any clues about potential places to park an 18-wheeler on or near Disney property while we spend the week at Old Key West?

Will he be bobtailing, meaning driving it without the trailer? I assume he's delivering the load and then meeting you at the resort? Or is he picking up another load before meeting you? It would be much easier to park the tractor without the trailer than it would be to park the full 18 wheel tractor-trailer. I have seen RVs that are a similar size as a bobtail tractor parked in the lots before many times.

There was a semi parked in the lot of Sports last Christmas(just the engine portion). Later that week a school showed up to march in the parade, with the entire 18 wheeler in tow. Fit nicely parked along the back row against some bushes in Sports lot.

We also saw a semi parked at sports this October. Trailer was attached. It was parked in one of the back rows. I thought it was great that the driver could meet their family for a few days.
