Disney parks launch 18 entertainment features
May 30th, 2012, 6:00 am - posted by Sarah Tully

Disneyland Resort parks are launching a whopping 18 new entertainment features, both big and small, as
they prepare for a busy summer season.

Most of the new features are tied to the makeover of Disney California Adventure, changes that largely will be
unveiled on June 15. But a few also appear in neighboring Disneyland. The acts range from a short, daily
opening ceremony to a massive nighttime extravaganza at California Adventure.

Many of the features will go in the new areas of Disney California Adventure, Cars Land and the Buena Vista
Street entrance corridor. Some are up and running.

the new entrance corridor and the shops of Disney California Adventure. Characters will
include Calvin the Cop, Molly the Messanger, Fifi the Photographer and Donna the Dog
Lady, whose pet is actually a hand puppet. The characters arrive when Buena Vista Street
opens June 15.

SOOOOO excited! I love all of these entertainment offerings! More excited about them than the rides. Very cool!

Awesome! I hope a lot of this stuff sticks after the summer. However, the commonly recommended 4-5 days may need to be increased for people to fit everything in.

Looks great! I can't wait to go. We only have a two day park hopper this year so, I don't think that we will have enough time to see everything unfortunately. I guess we will have to get a four day park hopper next year! :yay:

I agree....unfortunately Disney did away with the 6 day tickets!
