I would love to do the TA in 2023 with both my daughters but they will be 19 and just turned 21. It the age guideline strict? I know it used to be 18-21. That is if I can convince them to cruise again.

It was strict when we went on the five day-2 Castaway Cay stops in 2018. At first, our daughters didn't want to be separated into the "teen club" and the 18-20. But it turned out to be really fun for both of them.
The benefit you have now is both daughters are allowed in the adult areas of the ship...like the rainforest room in the spa or the adult pool.

My son was in that group. And he said they weren't strict at all when he was there. I think by that age, they tend to create their own groups and do things together and there were a few who were over 20. He said most of the time they just "hung out". I think the issue would be whether your 21 yr old would want to hang out with them.

I believe the 20 vs 21 difference is due to drinking age. If your 21 yr old doesn’t mind underage activities without alcohol she should be fine.

We cruised when our oldest boy was 21 and his younger brother was 19, and both of them were allowed to attend the events run by the 1820 Society.

Thanks. Not sure I can get them both “onboard” literally in a couple of years, but would love to do the TA when the youngest is in university. They would be not quite 19 and 21.
