I had the urge to say something, to point out a couple of things, but I've decided to MMOB and just keep my trap shut.

Just an aside to those that don't know...the OP (on the budget board) has posted her and her DH may be declaring bankruptcy...for their $260,000 mortgage they can't pay and their $50,000 in credit card debt they have.

She was also posting on the Cruise board that they are planning a DCL cruise too.

You can get in trouble for certain things you do, like posting something "argumentative/sarcastic".

Been there, done that, not worth it.

If you get too many points, you can be suspended, signatureless, even banned.

WHOA! I had no idea. How did I miss that? I have been gone awhile but I didn't realize I missed something that big.

Yup, just like demerits.

Mine came from the troll tipping thread. Some of you may remember. The crazy person that doesn't tip if the waitress brings her soda and her hubby's screwdriver at the same time because it takes only a second to get the soda, and her thirst shouldn't have to wait for the bartender to make the mixed drink.

And no tip if the waitress brings bread to the table without asking first. Because some of us are on a diet and shouldn't be faced with all those carbs.

One of my neighbors took out several home equity loans at the height of the real estate boom. So, now they owe way more $$ than their house could ever sell for. I'm not sure how they did it, but they recently avoided foreclosure. The thing that I don't understand is that big parties are the norm at their house. Clearly, there is money for that, but not to pay for the mortgage. I told my mom that we should stop paying our mortgages and maybe someone or a government program will bail us out. I mean, think about all the money that we could save!

Well, it stinks to be responsible, but I couldn't live any other way.
