17 Days of Wishes Come to Life- A Sept. 08 WDW and DCL Adventure 3/27 new link posted

Great update! It's nice to see that some of the CM's still truly care about the guests. It looks like it was a lovely anniversarry for you and DH. Congratulations on 13 years!

What a great day you guys had! The pool, the games, dh winning, the Artist Pointe for dinner, the special menu, the caricatures, and then the Blue Man Group!! :woohoo: And to think you haven't even visited a park yet!! You are a great trip teller.... :goodvibes

Great update! Ah! I know I've said this about a gazillion times but you're kids are SO ADORABLE!!!!!! I can't wait for your next update and see all the adventures you have then.
Don't worry, I never get tired of "your kids are so adorable".:lmao: We had many great adventures still yet to come. I cannot believe I haven't even gotten to the point where we were in a theme park yet! :rotfl: I guess I really got hooked on Disney downtime last year! From now on, it's going to be a substantial part of our vacations.

Awww love all the pool pictures, sure looks like a good day in the sun. The Little Prince is so adorable sleeping right there on his Dad's shoulder IN the pool. What a little cutie!!!

That is neat that your DH won the prize...I bet he was proud of himself.

Can't wait to hear all about the ANNIVERSARY day!!!!!!
I know, he feel asleep IN the pool...how funny is that? I was so laughing at him about the prize thing...it's not like he was competing in the Olympics!:rotfl:

OMG I have been so desperate to start reading this report and then I get hit with a heavy cold and miss the begining of it....I'm so dissappointed in myself;) . Anyway it meant I had a little JayTR Fest to myself this morning and it's made me feel tons better. I have thoroughly enjoyed your posts so far and can't believe the hygiene horrors in your room:scared1: . I have seen a couple of reports on The Wave and have a feeling it may be added to our growing list of poss ADR's for next summer. Keep up the good work you're brightening up a very wet & dull Scottish October:worship:
You weren't here and you were missed! So welcome back! I was hoping everything was okay on your side of the ocean! I hope you are back to feeling 100% in no time at all. Hygiene horrors...that sounds like a good title for that post! I wish I would have thought of that! I truly was horrified. With or without a special cleaning, no hotel room should EVER look like that!

Congrats to your kids, even though they didnt win I'm sure they tried their hardest, and extra congrats to DH for winning
They just had a lot of fun. I don't think they cared in the least that they hadn't won. The fun was in doing it. Which made it all the funnier when dh got so excited over his win.:rotfl2: It was really fun to watch the little girl who ended up winning picking out her prize too. She was so excited and happy, you couldn't help but smile for her!

Looks like you had a nice relaxing afternoon at the pool. BTW I wanted to ask you. How do you like the quick dry shirts that your boys were wearing? I am thinking about getting them for my boys since we live in Wyoming where the elevation is 6000 feet here. It is easier to get sunburn here.
We are big fans of the quick dry shirts! Although Stitch doesn't often (read ever really) get burned by the sun, Goofy and Aladdin are more fair complected. I love just popping those shirts on them instead of having to make sure they get sunscreen all over. It's just a whole lot easier. The shirts do dry incredibly fast and are very light weight, roll up to take almost no room in packing and we have found them almost impossible to wrinkle. So yes, I really do love those shirts! They make getting ready to swim lots easier!

You have to go back to page 25 in my PTR. I posted some pics of a family member of Sir George who stayed on my car -- on the windshield, no less -- while I went out for a drive!! Stitch will love those pictures!! :rotfl2:

Awww, poor Goofy! Little kids are just soooo cute! I can just imagine him at three and Mommy is going to eat him up!! Just think, you get to experience all that little little kid stuff again with Little Prince. :lovestruc
Oh my goodness....WHAT did you do to Sir George?! He looks like he enjoyed wind surfing! ha ha ha You were right, Stitch did love those pictures, along with his brothers! I am throughly enjoying every moment of our time with our Little Prince while he is a bitty one. Already, the time is flying by much too quickly!

Enjoy reading it very much.
Thanks!!:goodvibes

Thanks again!!:goodvibes I do so love food pictures myself. They really help me decide if I want to plan on eating at a certain restaurant and/or if I want to order a certain dish!

Oh Jay...what a wonderful way to spend your anniversary. It sounds like you both had a wonderful time. The Blue Man Group sounds like a hoot.....I wanna hear more!!! LOL.

Oh and those caricatures of the boys are darling....I think that is funny that Stitch had on his Jack Skellington shirt too...sounds just like the little guy!!! ;)

Now onto the park day...come on, your fans are waiting.....:lmao:
More about the Blue Man Group...it's SO HARD to think of the right way to describe what they do. The description either comes out sounding totally lame or totally crazy. It was none of the first and all of the second but yet so much more than that. :lmao: Did I shed any light on it yet?! Basically it involved no speaking but yet they communicated perfectly. Comedy (some physical, some situational, some I have no idea how to describe). It was very cerebral yet didn't stress your brain out. It was very educated at times yet sometimes they played completely ignorant. It was very simplistic but still complex. There was music but it was not a concert. I wouldn't call it a play either. Nor was it a comedy show. It wasn't totally improv but it didn't feel rigid either and I imagine it changes from show to show because they play off of the audience. It was completely interactive but yet you didn't feel put on the spot. It was side splitting funny. It held my interest the entire time. It was a work of art. It was the furtherest thing from what your mind (at least mine) would have understood "art" to be before. It was like going inside the head of Goofy and Stitch!! I think they live in the Blue Man Group world in their imaginations just about every day. That's the very best I can do  And I didn't come close to explaining it. I would take my boys to see it. I would go with dh's work buddies, our old college buddies, our church friends, our homeschooling friends, our neighbors, our extended family and the man on the moon (if I knew him:lmao: ). Really, it's hard to imagine someone not liking it. That is how much I enjoyed it.

How nice of you to give your boys all the freedom at WL! :goodvibes Sounds like they had fun!

Oooo the buffalo sirloin looks so delicious! Someday I'm sure we'll make it to Artist Point and I will be sure to order that!

I'm so happy your 13th anniversary was special! :thumbsup2
It was so delicious! Dh and I have an order in with a local organic buffalo farmer for some meat. We should be getting a delivery within the next week. I look forward to trying my hand at cooking some up. It was SO good!!

I'm glad you had a wonderful anniversary celebration. It's too bad you forgot your camera for the Blue Man Group show. I would have enjoyed seeing the pictures.
I thought there was not a reason to really worry about having my camera. I had no idea they would pose for pictures afterward. Boo hiss on me. There is always next time!! :)

Wow, your anniversary dinner at Artist Point sounds (and looks) amazing! So glad to hear you enjoyed yourselves. It was so nice of them to give you the personalized menus too. You just really made me want to go see the Blue Man Group too. They sound like such a fun night. Happy belated anniversary :goodvibes
DO see the Blue Man Group! And Artist Point was such a great dinner, I would highly recommend it! Oh that soup and buffalo sirloin!

Your anniversary dinner at Artist Point looked amazing, I am glad you had a good time. What a nice touch that was on your menus, Im sure it made your night even more magical. If you dont mind me asking what sitter service did you use? We have used Kids Nite Out on previous trips and have always been happy with them.
We did indeed use Kids Nite Out. It was actually our first time using them. We did simply because that is who Disney books and I had the IPO take care of booking that for me. In the past we had always used All About Kids and we were equally impressed with them.

DH and I just LOVED Artist's Point too! Soooo yummy. My favorite dessert of all time is from there, "Coffee Two Ways" and I FULLY intend to order it this trip in a "to go" format if they will let me!

And I'm so happy to hear you loved the Blue Man Group! I was confident you would, who wouldn't?! It's such a blast! And very, very difficult to explain. I hope to go back and see it again someday.

What a wonderful anniversary night for you and your DH! :goodvibes And the boys look like they had a fun night too. :thumbsup2
I didn't see coffee two ways on the menu?! IT COULD HAVE BEEN (I am not a coffee liker let alone lover, I would have skipped over it) but I just double checked the online menu (the one listed here on the DIS under dining, it was updated 2/08) and it doesn't list it either. Also, I think that is something dh would have gone for. However, don't panic off of my observations...again, I totally overlook anything to do with coffee most of the time since I don't touch the stuff myself.

You were so right about the Blue Man Group...they totally did rock!

Hmmm...are you a mushroom fan, Jay? ;) I seem to remember an inordinate amount of mushrooms from a topping bar making an appearance in your last TR...:rotfl: Your whole meal at AP looked YUMMY and just seeing the pictures made my mouth water! I would love to see the Blue Man Group, since I've heard so much about it; they came to my city last month, but my youngest brother was the only one who went to their concert. Love the caricatures too; on our first family Disney trip in 1990, my parents got one done for both of us kids (youngest was not yet born!) and they are still displayed at our summer cottage. Who needs a Picasso when you can hang your kids up on the wall? (OK, I just re-read that and it comes across WAY differently than I meant it :lmao:, but I think/ hope you know what I mean!).
HA HA HA, yes, a mushroom fanatic might be more like it. The funny thing is that as a child I wouldn't touch them with a ten foot pole. I remember my parents always got mushrooms and sausage on their pizza. I spent hours of my life picking mushrooms off of pizza for years. Now I am happy to have quadruple the quantity stacked on mine. You missed a great show (The BMG). Did your brother like it? And I do understand how you meant it and TOTALLY agree. I would much rather hang my children on the wall than any artist's creation. :)

Great update! It's nice to see that some of the CM's still truly care about the guests. It looks like it was a lovely anniversarry for you and DH. Congratulations on 13 years!
Thanks for the congratulations! It was a great surprise and I am very appreciative of that CM going a bit above and beyond for no other reason than to make us smile. It so worked!

What a great day you guys had! The pool, the games, dh winning, the Artist Pointe for dinner, the special menu, the caricatures, and then the Blue Man Group!! :woohoo: And to think you haven't even visited a park yet!! You are a great trip teller.... :goodvibes
I am in love with Disney downtime! It's just as much fun as park time...only a bit more laid back! ;)

Coming up next...

Our first park day. A day of fun at Disney's Animal Kingdom!

I absolutely love your TR! You have a beautiful family, and it looks like you all were already having so much fun! Eagerly awaiting your next post! :goodvibes

Just getting caught up....I've been out of town for a few days. The pool day sounded awesome! :thumbsup2 Also the anniversary dinner was very well done. You always manage to put something nice together.

Oh, I just can't get over the baby and how darn cute he is. I just want to squeeze his cheeks!

 ...it's not on the AllEars.net menu either...:faint:

I still have to check it out, just to be sure...oh, that would be so sad... :guilty:, but at least we had the opportunity to enjoy it the one time. :goodvibes

Coming up next...

Our first park day. A day of fun at Disney's Animal Kingdom!

Day 3...Disney's Animal Kingdom

I was hopping out of bed before the second ring of our wake up call. This is the day that I would get to explore Disney's Animal Kingdom (DAK).

The last time I was at DAK, I was four months pregnant with our very own Little Prince. Being as that was true and I had a few conditions that pushed me into the high risk category, I had a load of "don't do's" on my list. While I still enjoyed myself beyond imagination, it was a different sort of visit. We did all of the shows, I spent a lot of time sitting around while people watching and I ended up having to leave way before the rest of my family was done with the park. What I really missed the last day I spent at Animal Kingdom was the excitement of the park. The thrills, the chills...the rides!

**SAPPY ASIDE ALERT** With dh in charge of getting the big boys up and dressed for the day, I made my way to the balcony and feed our Little Prince his morning bottle. As I did, I couldn't help but let a few tears fall. These were tears of both joy and sadness. The tears of joy were for an overwhelming thankfulness that I was holding a perfectly healthy little child in my arms. The scary months that never felt like they would end had in fact, ended and unlike some of the great sadness that life sometimes brings, this time, the outcome was one of pure joy. We had a healthy son. A child who we didn't plan on adding to our family but who came and fit in like he had been a missing piece in our family puzzle. His little half face looked innocently up at me while a few tears dropped and looking down at him, I asked myself how I got so lucky and I realized the answer was that I was completely and totally blessed. :goodvibes

Still, through the blessings, I was feeling sadness. This year we had planned on bringing my dad with us to Walt Disney World. A major heart attack and stroke last summer has prevented that from becoming a reality. While he is still with us, he is not able to travel great distances nor would he be able to enjoy the parks or even most of the things at the resort. It's funny when you stop to think about it...your life truly can change in a moment's time. Both for the worse and for the better...

Now it's time to set that sappy aside, aside and move ahead to our fun at DAK! On our way there we stopped up and enjoyed breakfast in the Old Faithful club lounge. Our breakfast fare on this day was much the same as the day before and all of the days that would follow. While it was not varied, it was still good and filling. A perfect send off to a long park day!

We loaded up into the van and a short drive later at just after 9:30 AM we were piling out of the van and making our way into the park! It really was exciting to walk under the Animal Kingdom sign. It had been a long time (this was our third Disney day) to wait while at WDW before hitting a park! Ahhh, the happiness of being in one of your happy places with the people you love most!:cloud9:

The first ride we made our way over to was Dinosaur. Here is where I need to do a bit of back tracking. Stitch was too small to ride this ride two years ago. Last year, nobody rode it because dh is NOT a fan of rides that cause motion sickness (as he suffers greatly) so there was not a parent to ride with (me being pregnant and all). So, over the past year, Stitch has again and again talked about wanting to ride Dinosaur. He went on and on about how he wasn't afraid of it and he was going to try it now that he was big enough. This was the one ride on his must do list for the week. As to not disappoint my eager thrill seeker, we made a beeline to the ride and held our breath as we approached...would we have to wait in a long line already?

NO!!! And that was great news!! Dh, our Little Prince and Goofy (who is a bit faint of heart when it comes to thrill rides and/or scary rides) chose to hang out and do a bit of dino-ish exploring. While we were gone, our Little Prince had his first "real" character meet and greet (did I mention I almost flipped over missing this!). At least dh thought to ask them to snap a picture. ;)

Stitch loved Dinosaur! While Aladdincringed at a few parts of the ride, Stitch simply laughed with glee and even yelled out "bring it on" a few times to the dinosaurs. I know I will have my hands full and my mind will NOT rest easy while he is out and about as a teenager! There is a hair thin line between bravery and foolishness and I am not 100% sure which side of that line he will end up falling on!

We were able to ride twice in a row because upon our return, Stitch was telling Aladdin (very excitedly) how awesome that ride was and that he was glad he had tried it. They were high fiving and we were getting ready to unbuckle when the CM unloading asked us if we wanted to ride again! BONUS RIDE!! :woohoo:

After our double the dinosaur fun, we headed back out and found Goofy getting a different sort of dinosaur ride.
DisneySept08008.jpg

Stitch was quick to join him.
DisneySept08009.jpg

Stitch was also quick to remind him that this was a hidden Mickey dinosaur. They found it again in a matter of seconds.

Being as one of our favorite rides, Primeval Whirl, was closed for refurbishment, we headed out of the Dinoland area and ventured out in search of a yeti.

Since the posted wait at Expedition Everest was only ten minutes, we grabbed a fast pass for later and then got in the stand by line. The mountain trekkers on this excursion would be Aladdin, Stitch and myself. Dh once again opted out of this one. Although he had fun riding EE last year, he was not willing to tempt fate and end up feeling bad for the rest of the day. Instead he took our Little Prince and Goofy and went off in search of CMs to let Goofy pin trade with. Goofy had also enjoyed EE last year, but for some reason he had no interest in riding it again this year. I think he sort of let his imagination get the better of him...but if he was happier pin trading then riding, I wasn't going to force the issue.

While in the stand by line, I found myself thinking we were moving TOO FAST. That's right, I was wishing the line was moving a bit slower. This was the first time that I had ever walked through the regular queue with people in front of me. This caused me to slow down and really take a good look around. I loved the theming in this area. Especially the yeti museum. I really could have spent another fifteen minutes in the line and been a happy camper. There was so much to look at, read and take in.

EE was everything I had remembered from two years ago (remember, I had to skip it last year)! I was LOVING every second of it! Upon our return to the base of the mountain (otherwise known as the end of the ride) we met back up with dh and the other boys and did a bit of shopping in the EE store. My favorite purchase is the Ornament from Everest that I picked up. Early in 2007, I read about the artist who creates them and visited his website, www.bellsfromeverest.com/cfm/bells/trip.cfm His story was inspiring to me and I used his environmentally sound trash to treasure attitude as the inspiration and basis for a unit study that I did with the boys. At the time, we wrote him a letter of admiration and actually got one back in return. I invite you to check his website out for yourself and if you would like to see the ornament, just click on the link in the top left corner.

Last year his ornaments were not available on his own website and he listed WDW as the place where his ornaments were available for purchase. Try as I might, I got way too tired to walk to the EE store (pregnant swollen feet don't always go where you tell them to) by the time I remembered my quest to find one. Thus, an "Ornament from Everest" was tops on my "must find" list this year. I am happy to report that I did in fact find one! And happily snapped it up. From looking at his website, I see that you can now purchase one by mail, directly from him. I am almost glad I was unable to purchase one that way last year. Now my ornament has triple good memories on top of the really cool backstory of the ornament itself. First, the time spent studying ecology, recycling and art with my boys. Second, I picked it up at WDW (enough said). And third, it would now always also remind me EE and it's yeti!

About the time we finished our shopping spree (we went a bit overboard on the whole yeti thing, t-shirts, stuffed animals and pins were among our purchases) our fast pass return window had arrived. Dh, Goofy and our Little Prince went to get us fast passes for Kali River Rapids while we went to enjoy the next ride up the mountain and into the territory of the yeti.

Being as only three of us wanted to ride it but we had five fast passes we were able to pass on a little magic to a couple who was walking to get into the stand by line (which by this time had grown to 30 minutes in length). After our second ride on EE, I handed one fast pass to Stitch and the other extra one to Aladdin and we stood near the fast pass return area waiting for a party of two. When we saw a couple, the boys passed the fast passes on to them. They asked us if we were sure we didn't want to use them and we explained how we had five tickets but two of our party had decided not to ride and the extra two tickets would not help us since we were a party of three. One of the CMs at the fast pass entrance heard us and let us in line again for doing something nice for another guest! She even walked us up to the next CM (the one who takes the fast passes) and explained that we should be let through. :) That's right, with that "free entry" we were able to ride EE for a third time in an hour!! Our triple ride on EE was a highlight of the trip for all three of us. We loved it!

TO BE CONTINUED...

Still loving all your details,,,I am searching each picture, especially
the ones at Wilderness Lodge to see if we are in the background
anywhere! We were there at the same time! On the 7th floor!!!!!!
Can't wait for more!!:surfweb:

I'd be high-fiving Stitch and Aladdin over the excitement of Dinosaur, myself! ;) I think it's Disney's best thrill ride! The picture of Little Prince, Aladdin, and DH with Pluto is adorable, though I'm sure you were kicking yourself over missing his first character visit! :badpc: :lmao: I know what you mean about the Everest queue - it's an attraction in itself! We love exploring the Yeti museum.

Very interesting about the artist and his trash to treasure work! :thumbsup2 We'll have to keep our eyes open for the ornaments this trip.

How nice of you and your boys to spread a little magic :goodvibes

Oh my goodness Jay....so many things to comment on. First, I loved your special moment feeding the Little Prince out on the balcony. How sweet and true.....you are blessed!!!

I didn't realize you had planned on taking your Dad on this trip before he got sick. I am so sorry Jay!! Thankfully he is still here, even if he wasn't able to partake in the the Disney magic with you. I am sure the boys will help you tell their Grandpa all about their magical adventures. How fun that will be!!!

I love the picture of the littlest one meeting his first real character...how sad that you did not see it...BUT....kudos to DH for having someone snap a photo!!!!!

Hooray for all the pixie dust that came your way so far too...the extra ride on Dinosaur and the wonderful CM who allowed you to take your 3rd trip to Everest!!! How sweet that you had already sprinkled a little pixie dust all your own!!! You guys ROCK Jay!!!!!!

Hey....one more thing....we need MORE photos....many, many, many MORE!!!!!

Great update! 3 trips on Everest in an hour! I'm envious. I got to ride twice for the entire day we were there. And so cool for the CM to give you the quick ride. I loved how much downtime you guys had at the start of your vacation. Mine was so GO, GO, GO!!!! there was no breathing room. It's definately going on my list of things to do next vacation. :)

Loving every word, Jay. Wasn't that soup at Artist point fabulous? One night, all I ate was that soup, and dessert. SO good.

You find the neatest stuff - the Everest Bell website was fascinating! Wish I could afford one of those beautifully turned bowls - but that's practically a Disney trip, right there.

Can't wait for the next installment :)

What a neat story about the ornament! How do you find this stuff, Jay?! :worship:

The picture of the little prince with Pluto is so cute, thank goodness your DH thought to have them take a picture! He looks so happy too, not the slightest bit nervous! :goodvibes

AND, I'm so jealous you got to ride EE 3 times! It's my favorite ride at all of WDW! I have motion sickness issues too like your DH, but if I take my Bonine in the morning I'm fine to ride :woohoo:

Great update, looking forward to more!

I am so enjoying your TR. The pics are wonderful of your beautiful family. Its so neat to see the Little Prince's reaction to all the sights. Next year we will have a new Little Prince or Princess of our own. So I can't wait to take him or her next year too. By the way, thanks for the good cry this morning during the sappy section.;) That was beautiful. For some reason I have those kinds of moments too at DW. Its usually during Wishes with all kinds of people next to me though. So its usually embarrassing. It should be really interesting when we go next month being pregnant and a little on the emotional side.:)

You are impressive....your updates are coming so fast! :goodvibes I loved that you guys passed on the Disney magic and then the CM noticed! That makes it even better! :wizard:

Wow, i'm like a week behind here!! :lmao: Have to play catch up!!

1st - glad that housekeeping was able to finally get the room clean to your and Aladdin's specifications!!

2 - Glad you liked the Wave! ya know, i look over menus, and never find anything that sounds good, but man the pictures and your descripitions sure can change a mind quick! :lmao:

3 - congrats to your DH for winning his puzzle! ;)

4 - Artist point, again, didn't really find anything good! How did the buffalo taste??? Was it tough? That's a restaurant i would like to try! the desserts and atmosphere look so good!!

5 - Yeah for riding EE 3 times!! WOO HOO!! And yeah for spreading pixie dust around AND getting rewarded for it too!! See, it pays to be a good person!

can't wait for more!! I'm loving all your pictures!

what can i say.... such awesome memories... i just love how you describe everything in great detail :goodvibes your family always seems to have such a wonderful time doing just the basics and also when you "go all out"...

thanks for taking us along for the ride...i just love reading your reports...:yay:

I absolutely love your TR! You have a beautiful family, and it looks like you all were already having so much fun! Eagerly awaiting your next post! :goodvibes
Nyla...what a pretty name! Thanks for your sweet comments. I will have the next part of our AKL day up later this afternoon. Welcome!:goodvibes

Did you go anywhere fun? I can only take credit for our choice of restaurants and show...the special touches were all added without my knowledge or planning. That actually made it even sweeter for me! Don't worry, I try and take care of the cheek squeezing every opportunity I get. Dh says that I better leave his cheeks alone or he is going to start covering his face when I come into the room. :rotfl:

 ...it's not on the AllEars.net menu either...:faint:

I still have to check it out, just to be sure...oh, that would be so sad... :guilty:, but at least we had the opportunity to enjoy it the one time. :goodvibes

I have since double checked with dh and he said that no coffee dessert was on the menu (he's a stereotypical man though, very limited memory for details, especially of WDW stuff) however, he is a coffee lover, so if he had seen one, I am thinking he would have ordered it. You might want to post a question on the dining board. I have my fingers crossed for you. Just curious, what was the dessert?

Still loving all your details,,,I am searching each picture, especially

How funny! Did you interact with Jack or Betsy? We adored those two concierge CMs! And although I am blanking out on his name, if you talked to him, I am sure you remember him. There was one CM there who no matter what I went to inquire about somehow turned the conversation to the fact that he had so much family money, his cousins were offered the chance to be models for Calvin Kline and Guess and turned it down His mom had a huge home on the edge of a lake which is worth millions and his family raises tons of money for charity, etc etc etc. He was a strange one to be sure.

Check the background of your photos too...I would love to see one if we happen to be "background material" HA HA HA.

Didn't you just love sitting in the table area looking out over the lobby? It was such a lovely place to sit and enjoy breakfast (or anything else).

I'd be high-fiving Stitch and Aladdin over the excitement of Dinosaur, myself! ;) I think it's Disney's best thrill ride! I love Dinosaur myself. Although EE is my favorite thrill ride at the Animal Kingdom! I was so kicking myself (and dh:rotfl2: ) over missing his first character meeting. But really, when Pluto is just standing there all alone, who can resist him?! :confused3 :rotfl:

Dh is LUCKY he had someone snap a picture. :lmao: I am pretending that the Buzz Lightyear statue at DTD was his first character interaction (yes, I am just slightly deluded) as to not feel as if I missed out on it.

The boys have had such a great time telling grandpa (and anyone else who will listen) about our trip. Hearing them relive the moments with such enthusiasm makes me smile!

We don't really rock...who wouldn't share a few extra fast passes? It's just sad to think of them thrown in a garbage can. And, I want our boys to grow up knowing that sharing kindness with others is just a built in part of life. Basically, I hope that random acts of kindness are not so random in their lives. I hope that kindness forms a regular pattern. Giving is one of life's greatest gifts to yourself. Every time you give a part of yourself, the world is made a better place. That multiples ten fold back to you since your world is now a better place to live in. Okay, enough of my parenting hopes. :rotfl: I sound like some crazy motivational speaker. :rotfl2:
