Out of these two, I would pick Citricos. They have a more unique and diverse menu and the atmosphere here is a little more adult, romantic. The tables are spaced nicely so you don't feel like you are sitting on top of the diners next to you. Narcoosees is usually more crowded and definitely more noisy with more families/small children dining there. The menu is more standard seafood fare.

The only negative I have with Citricos is that I don't think their desserts are up to par.

Of the two Citricos is probably a bit more romantic. Narcoossee's fireworks location often does make it crowded and a bit more noisy. Citricos is probably the better of the two food-wise.

Excellent points--couldn't have put it any better. Narcoosee's didn't even have tablecloths...I was totally unimpressed with the atmosphere there. The food was good, but Citrico's was MUCH better.

We went to both Citricos and Narcoossee's on our pre-Christmas vacation. I would definately pick Citricos for an excellent romatic dinner. We thought Narcoossee's food was good but over sauced and the service was so slow that when we looked at the elderly couple at the table next to us they had cobwebs hanging off their arms....:rotfl:

Seriously at Narcoossee's it took over 1.5 hours for our entree to arrive (we only had a salad and NO appetizer). We were there for over 2 hours and didn't stay for desert because we would have missed Spectro Magic at MK.

I have to post a different opinion here. My DW and I prefer Narcoossees for a romantic dinner. I suggest making an ADR for just after the MK fireworks and watch the fireworks from the dock at Narcoossees beforehand. We did this on our last trip in early December and found it to be very romantic despite the cool weather. There weren't too many people on the dock and we also got to see the Electrical Water Parade go by. :)

We have dined there several times over the years. The food and service has always been very good with friendly servers. We dined at Citricos only once and found the restaurant and service to be a bit pretentious. The atmosphere is very much like the GF Cafe, but with much higher prices. ;)

Narcoosee's gave me a tummy ache (although the food tasted good when I ate it!), and the tables were too close together. Put it this way, by the time our dinner was over, we knew the sordid dating histories of the 2 women sitting at the table next to us. Not particularly romantic....

I haven't tried Citricos, but I'd like to. Unfortunately, it got edged out by California Grill. We're eating there twice on our January trip - it is that good!
