Good Day Everyone
Soon we will be leaving on our yearly January trip to Disneyworld. This year we have an added bonus. We will be taking my husbands 16 year old god-daughter along with us this year. This will be her first time there. The only downfall is for the first time, we will be staying off Disney grounds. (This has been a whole issue with me) We are staying at Cypress Pointe Grande Villas this year in a three bedroom because my brother and sister, and her family will be joining us. I know it will not be our CBR or Old Key West, but I am sure we will survive...Maybe
Anyways, any suggestions to make this an extra special trip for her? She has had a really rough life and has gone through more in 16 years then most of us go through in a lifetime, so I want to make this extra special for her. She has been living with us now for a couple of months, and has made such improvements in her grades and overall life.
I have ordered her some bambi trading pins and a lanyard already to pin trade in the parks with my son.
Any suggestions to make it very magical for her?

Make the effort to see the fireworks and various shows. Also, if there's any merchandise she likes try to purchase it for her (if you can of course, and well within reason!
). Maybe make a package filled with stuff she can use when your going. Make reservations for character dining and IF (saying if because I don't know if all 16yr old would be...) she is interested, splurge on The BBB for hair and makeup. Maybe you two can do it together? Good luck and have fun! She'll have a great time!
I was just planning on taking her to get her hair braided, but that sounds like more fun. My sister was planning on us taking her to the cinderella breakfast with my 5 and 8 year old nieces. Thanks for the great suggestions! We are doing all the parks, and downtown disney, and one day seaworld, clearwater beach, and MAYBE universal. (Budget is a bit tighter this year paying for five this year instead of four-we always take my brother with us each year also as his Christmas present
Which is my fault, he is 25, four years ago I took him for the first time, pretty much kicking and screaming cause he said it would be stupid, now he is disney hooked!! Sometimes I think even worse then me! It is funny seeing this VERY large big thug trading disney pins!)
