Who's Who!
Myself: DW who is a trip planer, tour guide etc!
(This is my 25th trip!)
DH: Who loves Disney and trip planning as much as I do!
DS: 16 yr. old and vows to start his family (when he has one) on Disney yearly vacations! He's been going since he was 5!
Relatives: My mother and father, their 6th trip with us! 70's and in great shape!
Sister and Brother-in-law who retired and are Full-timers and are spending the winter in Florida anyway!
Sister and her 6 yr. old daughter. Both went May 1999 with us and whose daugther is the original chicken girl!
Brother and his 2 daughters, ages 10 and 12.
Friends:
Couple from our church and their 2 sons, ages 12 and 16. (Who were more thankful to us than my own family!)
I was up at 6AM doing my daily trip report. It was cold outside. 37 degrees! I walked to the Pepper Market with 4 others and ate a nice breakfast. Before long everone was having breakfast! Some of us are going to MK and some to AK again! My DH and DS are going to spend the day at Disney Quest.
I took my mom with me and she and I went back to AK because she missed going on Dinosaur. She really liked it. I also forgot my merchandise cpn. I had from the Disney Club for Rainforest so I took it to get a refund on what I purchased the previous day. It was no problem.
My mom and I spent the entire morning shopping at all the shops in the AK. We found some neat things. We got back to the room by 1PM to go....to the HOT TUB! By now it was 67 and suny so not too bad. I literally dozed off to sleep with my head almost falling in the water! I then retired to the beach cahir for a snooze.
After about 1 hour we headed back to the rooms to meet everyone for dinner. Tonight we are going to Chef Mickey's and there are 12 of us! We had one large round table and it was FUN! The food was great as were the character interactions. We all left full and happy and sat in the Contemporay lobby lounge and just talked. Now my DH and DS wanted to go back to Disney Quest and I had a DIS meeting to attend in the Widerness Lodge Lobby.
My Mom & Dad took the 3 grandchildren to the Contemporary Arcade. THE BEST! They had a ball and got a lot of tickets and came back with some great toys!
My sister and brother came with me to the Wilderness Lodge. It was beautiful as usual but I was dissapointed...no gingerbread house display! We sat in the Territory Lounge and had a glass of wine while we waited until 9PM. I then took a stroll through the Lobby and I finally spotted them..LIME GREEN RIBBONS!
It was so nice to meet fellow DIS'ERS and sit and chat. My DB and DS decided to head back to Coronado so I stayed and talked until almost 11PM. Finally we said our goodbyes and took many pictures and I caught the bus back. I beat my DH and DS back to the room. It was another good day!
Tomorrow: MGM and 2 boats for the Illuminations Cruise!
