16 and Pregnant

I would definitely keep the baby. At this point, I think I would be able to take care of a baby, even though I would have to do A LOT of growing up in a very short span of time. But I could never get an abortion (unless it's for medical reasons) or give the baby up for adoption.

Same. Even though it would be hard, I think I could maybe take care of it? Especially because getting pregnant activates your maternal instincts and stuff, I don't know, lol.

I know someone already said it, but I think this show is a lot more realistic then The Secret Life (which I also watch).
It's tough, and you see that a lot of the girls (and new dads) didn't know how much work it would be.
I like how they show a few weeks after the baby is born too.
I think it's a good show.

I think abortion is really a relative term. I know girls at my high school who use abortion has birth control. They have sex, unexpectedly get pregnant, and then get an abortion. They do this over and over and over again. For these girls, yes it absolutely is the easiest way out.
I think what Julie was trying to say is that it's the easiest way out physically, not mentally. For teenage girls, their appearance is everything - some would rather suffer a menta breakdown from an abortion than get "fat" because of a baby.

There is a girl at my school who does the same thing, using it for birth control.

I saw one episode where the girl was doing everything and he was doing nothing and she had to drop out of school. He almost didn't graduate.
She really wanted to go into the military. She eventually did though.


9th grade I saw 2 pregnant girls. 10th grade I saw like, 6. This year I wonder..?
Half of the girls, the father left them. One girl got a new boyfriend and the boyfriend supported the child even if it wasn't his...only to discover it WAS his

I didn't intend for it to...but I guess I can see how the abortion thing would fit in.

Lmao I loved that. For $25?! He bought the $500 PS3 or whatever. Like honestly, it's all about how you control your finances & work things out. He was careless.

i work hard for my money too, and guess what i did with it. i paid rent. he needs to take responsibility for himself and his family. and sometimes the right thing isn't hte fun thing.

He had to grow up. I can't remember but I think it was her mom or his mom that talked some sense into him&he returned the game.
