Hopefully we'll get to meet someday, too! That's right, you were in WDW when the Mansion was still closed! They really did a great job on it. We took some video in the ride. Shhhhhh. I'll try and post it later in the TR.

2nd update now finished ... Kids are cool with their pins. We never got into those but with all the DISers' kids doing it, I think I may be headed that way ...

Well, it's about time. Sheesh. I was beginning to think that I had cooties or something. I had fun last night! We need to have another party! How's your head?

I wasn't sure how the head was when the kids woke up at 6:50 am ... but I kept sleeping in until 8:30 am and I am totally fine! It really was fun!

Now you have something to look forward to next time - the Haunted Mansion! It was very cool. The 8th turned out to be a great MNSSHP night. Are you going next year?

Probably not... turned out that it wasn't the best time of year to pull Alex out. He had a really hard time adjusting to the new school year with all of the anxiety & excitement leading up to our trip. Plus we'll probably still be paying for this year's trip by then...

Amazing to see everyone up so early this morning -- and posting somewhat coherently as well! We sure did have a great time last night!

So, Michelle, no chance of getting you to move your October trip up a week? Our kids have fall break the week before Halloween, so we'll be there from Oct 19-25th. If not, maybe we'll have to meet the next time you fly out of Indy.

You were up until 3am!?!? yikes. We could never do that. My kids are up early. I mean early. My oldest son is handicapped. He has no real
understanding that mom wants to sleep late. So I just go to bed early.

I can't wait to see your video of the HM. I have seen a still picture of the bride. Looks kinda scary. I can't wait to ride it!!!! We booked a trip for December. But everyday I think we should cancel because the cost of the airfare alone is more then a mortgage payment. What to do-what to do.

I am so sorry to hear about your mom-in-law. I read in one of your 1st TR's that you've had your share of tragedy in your family. I lost my dad over 10 yrs ago. It took me 5 yrs to not cry when I thought of him.

In our area we had a high school kid die of mrsa. It is quite scary. I think there have been a couple more cases as well.

Our house needs lots of tender loving care. Right now my dh just fixed a leak under the kitchen sink. Many more tasks like that one need to be done. I'm lucky that he is so handy. It'll take a little while to get everything squared away. (we needed to get a 1 story house because my older son is in a wheelchair & my dh & I had to carry him up the stairs in our old house-ouch).

Never been to the Kona Cafe for dinner. Going to have to put that on my "things to do list".

I can't explain what it is exactly that keeps me coming back, but I never get tired of spending these amazing vacations with the people I love.

I can't believe what a LONG day you all had! All that food at Kona looks soooo good! That is one of the few places on property that we have not tried-definitely taking note to go there the next time. Awesome photos...I feel like I was there with you-and those Lapu drinks...OMG...I will definitely try one of those!

We're eating breakfast at Kona next month. Tried to switch our Ohana dinner to Kona after seeing so many great reviews, but the times didn't work for us. So, we're headed there for breakfast instead. Can't wait to try the Tonga Toast and DH wants to try the Macadamia Pancakes.
