........................................ ............ ......

C.Ann you have a most amazing attitude. I wish I had your spirit. I truly admire you. Keep it up. It will serve you well, no matter what comes your way.

I doubt there is anywhere else your daughter would rather be, than by your side until you get the results of your tests and can start dealing with it. I know I would want to be with my Mom, and I wouldn't want to leave before she got the test results.

I am so glad you had a good night by the campfire with your family and friends, it sounds like it gave you strength and that's great.

Attitude definitely helps any situation. Like you said, you can't change what happens but you can change how you deal with it. Your attitude reminds me of my dear mother-in-law, she passed away about 8 years ago after a long, long, and definitely courageous battle with Lou Gehrig's disease. She was a fighter and we feel that with her courage and faith in God she lived longer than she would have, had she had a poor attitude towards what was happening to her. She was of the mind that if she could no longer do something the "normal" way, she would find another way to do it. She was a wonderful woman with a heart of gold and a ton of courage. Your attitude about what is happening to you just reminded me of her.

Keep your spirits up, and we all here will continue to lift you up in prayer and good thoughts.

CAnn- I'm checking in this morning and what a difference I can hear in your latest posts. Your little DGD is a gift and I think she is an inspiration to you. I am a Nana and would never have been able to say "no" to my precious little Princess, and it seems that your little one knew just the right medicine to perk you up as well! All of this positive energy!

I would ask you to reconsider sending your DD home. I usually read your threads and have seen how you have cared for your DD and I know that she would want to do the same for you. Your family learns from your example and you have set a very high standard for family. I think that your DD would be more worried and more concerned if she was not able to stay with you. There is some comfort in feeling that you can control events by your presence, I think that you have "moved mountains" merely by staying close so I wouls encourage you to allow your DD to move them for you now.

As always you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. :grouphug:

C. Ann, let your DD dictate when she is going to go home. You have enough on your plate now and don't need to worry about that. As others have said, if it were my Mom there would be no way I'd be going home.

I'm so glad you had a good night's sleep and were feeling better yesterday. :goodvibes Never underestimate the power of a positive attitude!! It makes all the difference!

 I know all too well how it feels to be waiting on results like this, I've been there myself. I will certainly be praying for you and am here for a hug, if you need to vent, whatever! Please keep us posted when you hear from the Dr!!

I"m glad your dd stayed. Good idea to send your DGD home.

As for the sweating have you had your blood sugar checked lately? Sweating like that could mean its very low. Just something to check if you haven't.

As always a million prayers.

Just wanted to let you know that I am praying for you.

Glad to hear your DD stayed near. It sounds like you're eating well or at least you know you have to eat something to keep up your strength. You do your best to remain positive and I'll keep those prayers coming.

Sending lots of :goodvibes and :wizard: sprinkled with some :grouphug: and .

I'll be thinking of you today.

Just wanted you to know you are in my thoughts today.

C.Ann, you continue to be in my thoughts.

What exactly are your symptoms, if you are willing to share that information. I'm a nurse, and sometimes what seem like terrible symptoms could be something that is treatable.

How long have you been sick? What has been fgoing on? When did you first notice it? What kind of testing have they done thus far? Did the doctor give you any ideas of what he/she thinks it oculd be??? What are they ruling out????
