Happy Wednesday!
How is everyone? It's rainy and yucky for me, but at least it's not cold.
I had much more luck with my eating and exercise plans yesterday. I actually stuck to them, pretty much. I had a Greek salad instead of soup and yogurt, but I figure that's probably pretty even. I did my treadmill time, so I was very happy about that. I'm just trying to get the habit of being on down now, then I'll push for more speed/incline later. I always try to do too much too soon and get discouraged, so I'm trying to ease into it.
Eating plan
B: oatmeal and raisins
L: soup and yogurt, 100 cal Ritz mix
S: apple & cheese
D: ? (I can't remember what's on the menu, but it's healthy)
S: hot tea, 100 cal Sandies & Lindt ball
Exercise Plan:
60 minutes on the treadmill, 3.2 mph @1.5 incline
Tiff -- Great job on getting back on track! I think that's the hardest part for me.
Debra -- Your family trip sounds wonderful! How terrific that you can do this for everyone. I'm sitting here smiling thinking of the great time you will all have.
Tonight is more of Kate's backstory on Lost. Do you feel sorry for A-L? I know we're supposed to, but I just can't seem to like her. I had a little tear for Rose & Bernard's reunion. They were so sweet.
Tracy -- Isn't it crazy the way we run around chauffering kids?! I want my ds to be able to do all the great activities, but it does make for a busy time. I don't know how you do it for so many, you are a supermom!
Tara -- If you can give up the cheats, so can I. It's a hard month, but I'm going to own whatever I eat, so hopefully I will be much more aware of what is going into my mouth. Good job doing the Gilad! I can't even look at him without feeling I am out of my league. I know it will all pay off.
Kathy -- -- You are doing a fantastic job of keeping up the exercise, even with adversity. I hope your elbow feels better soon.
Jen -- How's that mandatory fundraiser coming? You must have a great calendar to keep track of all your activities!
Linda -- Have you started to warm up yet?
I feel for you. Trust me, the cold will be hitting us sooner than I would like. I finished eating before 8 last night! Who can eat while watching the Biggest Loser?! Not me.
Jean, KathyT, Haley, Danauk and any lurkers -- (I lurk from time to time, too!) Have a wonderful day, and a terrific evening!
C'ya Real Soon,
Maria
