15 Years of Magic- see the page 6 for more pics and page 7 for more!

Loved your reports. Just wanted to say "thanks" for taking the time to write everything down. Can't wait to read about the December trip with your kids!

Took me two days but I read it all... <whew>!

Really sounds like you two had a great time. We are going in October and can hardly wait now. We are just like you in that we would go absolutely nuts just sitting on a beach somewhere. If I want to do that, I just go to the Poly :)

Thanks for all the hard work.

Bumping this up for Tinkern!
Thanks for all the compliments :goodvibes I am in the middle of planning the December trip, the logistics are so much more complicated with six people than they were for two!

You should seriously be a writer.

We've been married 18 years (4 kids- 17, 13 soon to be 14, 8.5 and 4.5 - all Girls) and have NEVER taken an anniversary trip but plan on it when we celebrate 20 years in 2007.

I was thinking of going to Vero Beach but after reading your trip report we might do Disney. We'd get to do all those tours that the kids aren't terribly interested in, drink around the World and get up and out the door in 10 minutes instead of 2 hours!!!

You mentioned something about a quick breakfast? What is that exactly....I've yet to have one, lol.

Thanks again for your trip report.

It took me a while to read and I'm still in my pajamas at 10 am but it was Worth every second. Looking forward to reading your December report. Post your pics when you get a chance.

Congratulations to Tony and Holly!!!

What great reports - thanks for posting!

Its our 15th anniversary on 9/15. We had originally planned to go to DL for it, but with two kids (eldest starting secondary school on Monday) thought we'd be better going to WDW earlier in the year because there's more there.

Haven't done a long holiday without kids yet - nearest was overnight for a friend's wedding - but hoping to persuade DH to do a couple of days somewhere. Touble is he works quite long hours so obviously wants to see the kids when he is home.

Looking forward to your December report :goodvibes

GREAT trip report! One of the best I've read. I loved the pics by the photographer too. Thanks so much for sharing!

DH and I hope to go to WDW by ourselves for our anniversary next May. Is there anything you'd do differently?

I can't think of anything I would do differently. Maybe not go in August? It was VERY hot and really limited what we could do because we would tire out so quickly in the heat. It wasn't very crowded, though, so that was a bonus. We managed to fit A LOT into the days we were there.

I wish we could have done the Backstage Magic Tour, because we really enjoyed the Keys to the Kingdom.

I also wish we had made it to Jellyrolls and more of the Boardwalk restaurants while we were staying right there! We walked down to Jellyrolls one night, but it was very crowded and smoky and Matt doesn't do smoke at all, so we decided to wait for a less crowded night and never made it back.

I also wish we had taken a break that last afternoon instead of going to Epcot, that was sort of a waste of time and just exhausted us.

That's all I can think of. I would do it again in a heartbeat, it was so much fun and left me really looking forward to going back with the kids in December.

GREAT TRIP REPORT Goodferry! I finally got over here after reading your quick post at TGM. I'm so glad I read it, you have a wonderful sense of humor. Thanks for taking the time to share this with us! BTW, loved your pictures. I especially liked the ones taken on the Liberty Square bridge with the castle in the background!

Wow, really enjoyed your reports! We will be going to Disney World for our honeymoon next month.

We will also be having photo session with the Disney Photographic team. I can't wait and will also be doing the Keys to the Kingdom tour - I'm glad that you had such a great time with both.

I love the basket that Peggy did too! What a nice touch. :wizard:

:cheer2: loved your trip reports! Thank you for writing!

I loved your trip reports! Our friends and family think we are crazy to go to WDW without kids, but we love active vacations too. We will also be in WDW in December to celebrate our daughter's seventh birthday on December 21st! Our son had seizures when he was little and he did grow out of them. Enjoy your December trip!

I got some more of my pictures back, in particular the ones from Animal Kingdom and thought I would share. I was so excited that we got to see Devine this time! We saw her on the walkway from Asia to Africa, and she was very cool. What was the most fun, I think, was watching the people walk through who did not know she was there, in particular the kids, who would about jump out of their skin when she would move.

We heard during the Keys to the Kingdom Tour that we took that Expedition Everest is ahead of schedule, so we are really hoping that maybe it will be ready in time for our December trip.

Despite the heat, we did spend a lot more time stopping to enjoy the beautiful scenery in Animal Kingdom this trip, and got some beautiful pictures to remember it by

Hi Goodferry ! :wave2: , thank you for the wonderful trip report! Happy belated honeymoon, and Happy anniversary !!! :flower1:
We were just across the way from you @ the BWV, from the 9th to the 16th of Aug., and know what you mean about the heat that week. Not complaining mind you, but it seemed to be opressive sometimes. We also walked to mgm, only once,(I`ll never do it again in the summer though ), too hot!! ( Rather take the Boat :earseek: )
Soo many things that you guys did, we did, only, on different dates, (including Dinner @ Yachtsman !) I got the rose too, it was our Ann. the week before, so we had a belated celebration. A couple that was seated in front of us were on their Honeymoon (just got married), it was so cute watching them, (as we were the veteran married couple, with 2 grown children)
Anyway, thanks again for letting me relive some of the wonderful things we did also!!!, BTW, your pictures are just lovely too!!!!! :flower:
