Don't you get one with Magic Your Way Packages? Has anyone ever used them or chosen not to use them? Can they be used to purchase t-shirts or just food?

We used ours last trip and we enjoyed the meal. The wait was tolerable because it is such a big restaurant and we had a decent dinner. I had a caesar salad which was quite good and my mom had a burger which was decent.

Originally was thinking of using our's combined w/ my DMom's for appetizers one night, but now that won't work. Trying to decide is it something we should really try and use...hate to waste anything that is free....

Yes, it is. Does anyone know if you can buy alcohol with the gift card? If so, we will probably go there for lunch one day on the dxdp and use the gift card for our drinks.

They let me buy a t-shirt with it. I guess the cashier didn't know what she's doing because after I got back I found out they're only for food.

my pkg had 2 vouchers one $15 for food, and $15 for merchandise, so maybe they had the right one.

The $15 had to be used for an entree (Most were at least $15 anyway...for a burger?!?) which I think was if you bought an entree...you are paying for the movie memorabilia and loud atmosphere. Still cost us a bunch for two kids’ meals and one entree. Done it once and wouldn't do it again (haven't in any returns).
I think I do remember a certificate for merchandise/souvenir which amounted to a fridge magnet.

Always try it once unless you are low-budgeting a trip.

I used it for lunch and got the LA Lasagna! You can only use it for food and not with the ddp ! You can just get dessert or an appie but the c/o is 1 per room or package so it isn't much good for a family!

In the last year I did three pkgs to WDW. We didn't use the PH certificate on the first two trips. In Dec when I went solo I took all three with me. One night I met some fellow DISers at PH. One forgot her $15.00 certificate, so I pulled one of my extras out, and the waitress said no problem and took it, so two certificates (both with my name on them were used that night).

The funny thing is I ordered a salad that night while the other three people with me each ordered a burger. We turned in the four $15.00 certificates and our meals were paid in full (except for the tip). I went back another day and was going to use my third certificate. I ordered a burger and a glass of water. The waitress told me I couldn't use the certificate unless my bill was over $15.00. I told her my group had used them just a few nights prior and our bills were not $15.00 a piece. She went to talk with the daytime manager and came back to again tell me I had to order something else to make the bill over $15.00 or else I couldn't use the certificate. It's not like I wanted change or anything.

Did it a year ago and it was good.

I didn't have high hopes for PH, but it turned out to be one of the plesant surprises of our trip. We all loved our meal there.
