15% off at Orbitz

So apparently I have fallen for Disney marketing and have always booked directly with Disney for hotel and tickets thinking it was the best deal around. I found the 15% off hotel rooms discount code (SURFSUP) and re-booked our Disneyland Hotel stay. I had no clue Orbitz sold discounted Disneyland and Disneyworld hotel rooms! Wish I knew this last year for our Thanksgiving Trip; It could have saved me a few hundred dollars. Just passing on the info in case others didn't know. Orbitz looks to change the 15% off hotel rooms codes monthly so you may have to google search in the future.

For a slightly better deal (usually) book through cheaptickets which usually has a 20% code and same prices as orbitz (I think they are same company), current code traveler20

Also for the Disneyland Hotel, does anyone know the difference in the Standard and Deluxe rooms? Is the only difference your potential view?

Yes, it's the view. The deluxe view is on the pool side, but a lower floor so you may have a tree partially blocking your view, still pretty nice.

Cheaptickets only has 5% now and Orbitz 15%, If you watch carefully and time tings correctly you can triple discount, we were able to get a 2% ebates rebate, 20% Disney and 15% Orbits discount for our March trip. You can stack the discounts, but be careful to add the Orbitz code before you book. The place to add the code is not as obvious as it it used to be. It's towards the end of the process above the place where you add credit card info. We have a reservation for July booked through Ebates 2% and Orbitz 15% and will re-book to add a Disney discount if one appears or cancel if an AP rate beats the 15% discount.

20% still working for me at cheap tickets, but I think the coupon% they offer will slowly decrease as peak travel season gets here.

That's a great tip! We travel next month and I don't believe the 20% off is offered for our stay but believe me, I will keep a look out!

same here! It's hard to use the AP discount when you can get the stacked discounts. The incentive of a FastPass is not nearly worth the $200-300 extra savings for the same or better room! Did everyone see the 30% off WDW rooms for the summer? I wish the DLR had the same "blessing of size" and room capacity!
