Does anyone know of any trip reports with 15 month olds?

We are staying at the Poly for the monorail. Dh and I have been several times a year for the last 10 years but this is our first trip with a kid. I am open to any advice or tips!

search @Dugette bear hugs and piggy kisses. her daughter was 14.5/15 months at the time of that trip. ive read it a million times I think since im taking our 15 month old in December. my husband jokes that I wouldn't have a clue what to do without that report ( seriously, ive copied many tips including thermos and sippy cups). some of those tips can be found in her pretrip report ( I don't remember the full name, something of going to the world again plus one...but if you search threads started by her you will find them)

Backpack diaper bag
ziplock gallon bags - 1 for diapers/wipes; 1 - change of clothes; 1 - snacks (all put in the backpack)
Stroller that reclines if you are not going back to the resort for a nap
All counter service will give ice water for free.
There are play areas in each park
MK - under the train station near splash mountain
EPCOT - in the exit of Mission Space
DHS - Honey I shrunk the kids playset
Animal Kingdom - Dino Dig

I did a trip with my 10 month old in May and going back at the end of the month.

Fee free to pick my brain. (Trip reports and PTR in my signature)

Aw, thanks for recommending my report! :goodvibes (We stayed at the Poly on that trip too!)

Figured I would post here so that the links in my signature were easy to find. Also, if you are looking at my report, keep an eye on the signatures of others that posted, as many of us have taken young toddlers and written about it (which is the only reason I know anything, haha!) I can tell you that I loved khertz's report from when her son was 1 - it's a little older report and he was a little younger, but that got me really excited about bringing a 1 year old. There are a ton of other great ones too, many of which also posted comments on my TR, so watch those signature links.

And have a great trip!

I took my 15 month old twins in oct 2013. It was great. They loved everything and that tripped sparked a tiny obsession with traveling to Disney for me. The Poly is a perfect choice. Honestly I think 15 months was a pretty easy age compared to 2 and 3 at Disney so just go with the flow and have fun! Be prepared to ride It's a Small World more times than you thought possible. Have fun!

That's good to hear. Our DS's first trip was at 3 months and it was a great trip but we are a little worried about our next trip where he will be 15 months old. :)

With our girls, their first trip wasn't until they were 3 and 5 so this is pretty new territory for us! :)

My 12 month old was super easy when we brought him! He was just starting to walk but he was so little so he mostly was in the stroller or I wore him in a baby carrier too. We let him run around on Tom Sawyer island and that was a nice break. I would say he was definitely much easier than older kids I've brought. The hardest part for him was probably our drive to Florida (30 hours in the car!) but Disney itself was a breeze.

My younger DD was 16 months old on our trip in Sept 2014. I never did get a trip report written, but feel free to message me if you have questions! She was very easy at Disney at that age, mostly just went with the flow. Her favorite ride was the boat ride in the Mexico pavilion at Epcot - she thought Donald was HILARIOUS. She was not into meeting characters though; she didn't cry or freak out, but she didn't want to go very near them either. Finally on our last day she interacted with Stitch of all characters while DW was holding her.

we just came back from our trip with our DD13 months and DD4. For DD13 months i was wondering how to feed her there b/c i did not want to use their high chairs. What worked great was her in her normal stroller at the QS places with a disposable Bibster. It has a catch pocket that worked GREAT as a food tray. I crumbled up her food and put in the pouch. She pulled out ever crumb. Happy as a clam too. Then for the sippy cup issue, i didnt end up using the one i brought from home, what worked was a plastic spoon and i would put some of my water or smoothie on it. She nurses and has food for fun, so a little was fine for her. Waterproof disposable mats were great for diaper changes. They worked great in the hotel for changes also. I got the ones that are huge, like a grown up size for dental work. Full coverage for the bed to change her on. Plastic gloves were a great one too.. disposable. I get Ammex from Amazon. The nursing areas in the baby center were always loud. the baby did not nurse well as someone was always coming in or leaving and talking. just find a quiet spot somewhere else. she was happy and had a great time, WAY happier than the 4 year old!! WAY easier than the 4 year old. Priceless memories. I love the ones of me and her in front of the castle. DD4 was whining so i left her in the stroller. The baby was so happy and i hugged her and now have the best photo of us together.
