15 days too go--and we are all sick-

I can't believe it, DD has had a cough for like 3wks --has been to the doctor 2x's...I think that it is asthmas/allergy related then DS comes home fromthe Halloween parade Sunday night and complains that his ears hurt (crying on the floor) then b4 bed his throat also hurts. DH was sick about a week to a wekk and half ago (zpack for him) take the kids to drs Monday morning DD is still the -lets try Amox and a sinus cleanse (poor DD) but not "sick" DS ears don't hurt throat doesn't hurt. Yesterday, me--fever 102...back and neck hurt--coughing a little, took mortin b4 bed and much better today..wait--DS wakes up this morning @ 5am "mommy did you hear my croppy cough" go to hug him--102.5--------I can't win and I feel like I want to cry, I did get trip insurance -so not big there...I just feel like I want to cry,oh and this weekend last football game, Halloween and DD & DS birthday party--UGH!!!!!!!!!!!

Hopefully you will be feeling better soon. I know how it is when they are sick for holidays and birthdays though. My son was diagnosed with pneumonia 3 days before Halloween last year.

You should be okay in 15 days. At least you should have strong immune systems by the time you get to Disney! Hope you all feel better soon and have a GREAT trip!

As for your weekend plans, I think I would be postponing or cancelling them.

I agree with tlh0726 reschedule as much you can. Get everyone better so you can have a great trip! We are just getting over the flu here and I had to cancel everything for a week. We have 38 days to go!

Boy can I relate right now! We leave in 9 days, and all but one of us in the house are sick with something. My middle ds had h1n1 a few weeks ago, and my youngest ds still has a yucky cough he's had for over a week. My dh got something last week, and he's still coughing too! Now its my turn...coughing started yesterday and on top of that, a horrible back issue going on too! ENOUGH is ENOUGH already!! I just want Florida sunshine to shake us all out of this junk!!

Yep, that's us too! All three kids have been sick. One is just well enough to go back to school. The other two probably won't be able to go to school the rest of the week since school policy is 48 hrs without fever. My middle daughter is really sick right now. They have given her Tamiflu, but she can't keep anything down so I'm not sure how much good it is doing her. She has asthma so I am staying in very close contact with our pediatrician. DH has some sort of bubonic plague (any sniffle is a crisis to him though, so I'm not exerting a lot of energy worrying about him at the moment). I'm the only one not sick. My concern is that just as I get everyone else well, I'll get sick! Kids bounce back pretty quick, so I'm hoping in 9 days they'll be well and ready to go!
