AFAIK the gift cards and credit cards are not transferable between the two.

Children's Place owns Disney Stores but you can't use there gift cards/ coupons for CP at DS

CP bought DS back in Fall 2004. Unless things have changed recently, gift cards & coupons are not intechangeable.
