do you have to list your middle name to match your passport for everyone’s names listed on a hotel reservation or is first and last name sufficient?

We had our full names that matched our passports on our hotel reservations (we stayed at the Toy Story Hotel) but they didn't really check the names at all. We just showed them our hotel reservations and our outbound flight to Hong Kong.

We did the same - making sure names matched identically. At the 144 transit visa desk in PDG they didn't even ask for our hotel accommodations at Toy Story. But we had it ready if needed.
