1400 Loop questions

There are good sites on this loop and bad sites, you just have to get one and judge it from there. We tent camped on this loop last year, the first site they gave us was on the far side of the outer loop and sewage from the RV's was really stinking up the place. I didn't even want to think of trying to sleep with that smell in a tent! I went and did some explaining and got a much nicer site that I hope we can get again this June.

Have Fun!

Well that's just unacceptable!!!!!!! According to some, changing your site is a no no. Now somebody else had to smell that sewage see. I'm kidding of course, but some people might not like this.

Thanks for the input; from what I can tell, we will probably be very happy there as this is our first time camping at the Fort. We've stayed at some pretty low quality CGs in the past, so nothing at the fort will be a disappointment. Except maybe that heat/humidity combination, but we'll make sure the AC is working and keep plenty of ice in the cooler.

We stayed in Loop 1400 at Thanksgiving for our first camping trip at FW! We loved it. We requested it again at Easter, but unfortunately had to cancel that trip because the kids have had too many snow days, and requested it again in June. (And we just had to modify that trip because of snow days!) We were close to the transportation and the campfire. The only downside was that we spent $400 on a golf cart that we didn't need because the location was so convenient! But at that time of year, it was great to see everyone's decorations! I'm sure you'll love it!:goodvibes
