14 years since my last visit to Epcot! Please help!

My DD 11 is looking forward to buying a different type of candy from each of the countries. Japan definitely has the best and most unusual selection.

i am spoiled here -- my city's population is over 80% asian -- and we have two very large Asia centric malls -- so we can pretty much get any candy or toy cheap ---

I can see my 12 and 8 year old doing this! Do you happen to know if the candy is actually made in the countries? Sounds like a silly question I know, but my 13 year old has a dye allergy. We have discovered that candy from Europe is dye free. Our sweet friend in London brings him candy a few times a year.

Yes, they sure do. The shop in Japan is an actual department store chain from Japan. I couldn't tell you which ones they carry however because my kids have moved past them as far as toys. They were more interested in the anime at their age now. But there is a pretty good sized display for Transformers there, and we there last a month ago.

My boys can sure waste a ton of time in that store. The good news is the other half of the store has some very pretty stuff to browse through while the kids are drooling over the toys. :thumbsup2

regards

I had no idea that pick a pearl existed until I stumbled on the thread yesterday so I have plans in Japan as well. :cheer2: Just not going to tell my dh! "Oh, look, I wonder what that is????"

My 12 year olds (boy/girl twins) love sum of all thrills in innovations. You design your own rollercoaster and then ride in on a robotic arm/simulator. I would definitely suggest that your boys will love it. I think the other posts hit most of the other must do's.

Second Sum of all Thrills. It is in the Innovation Bldg that is to the left as you pass SpaceShip Earth. The kids really love it!

It should all be from the respective country. Like I know that Cadbury chocolate is made by Hershey here and isn't as good anymore, but they had real Cadbury in the UK pavilion.

If you need a period of time to rest consider adding in Universe of Energy. It is long which is why it's such a good place for everyone to catch their breath and the dinosaurs are still cool. Our son always liked it but mainly when he wanted to a chance to just sit in the air conditioning for a while.
