I bought the tickets yesterday and will be there tomorrow. I'll let you know how it goes. I really hope I didn't just waste $350. If this works then this is an awesome deal. I saved $78. For people on a tight budget like me, that's a lot.

Powerpass is a great deal but only available for Florida and Georgia residents.

Didn't I post a couple of pages up that I was with people that used these tickets. They used for 9 people and there wasn't a problem using them. I bought the same tickets but directly from Universal for $129. But when our friends called the next day they wouldn't sell them the tickets, said they made a special case for me. So they bought off the web site instead. Could only use the discount code on the web site, not over the phone.

Update: Viator answered my email and said that the tickets would only be valid for the dates specified. So, as of right now, I cannot purchase tickets for a trip in January. I'm still not sure I believe it but I can't take the risk.

Universal normally doesn't care when the tickets were purchased. They only expire at some point after first use. How these vouchers are different I don't know.

I also received a response today (finally) from Viator (see below). Pretty much the same info as we have heard from the OP (thanks, all!). We are not going until early Nov, but I dont think I'm going to find a better deal. So WOO-HOO!! WWoHP, here we come!!
