Has anyone from Australia or New Zealand bought 14 day Disney Vacation Passes recently? If so, were you able to buy them independant of flights, hotels etc. or were they available only as part of a travel agent's holiday package?
Any information you can share would be appreciated.

I am hoping to get one through Expedia ( we are travelling in May). However from watching the Expedia site over the last several months the 14 day pass only seems to become available for online purchase a couple of months prior to the dates you want to use. So fingers crossed come March I will purchasing ours ( we are not doing any of our travel arrangements with a travel agent).

Caroline NZ - you are a gem! Thanks for the info. I had looked at Expedia but it didn't occur to me to try different dates, I just assumed that they didn't sell the passes.
Enjoy your holiday!

no probs :-) . Gosh, its very disheartening with the plunge in the value of the Kiwi dollar but at this stage we are still committed to going. Not sure what we wll do if the dollar goes much lower though :confused3

Now I am wondering if these passes have been discontinued because Expedia do not have them listed for dates commencing after the end of March.
The Aus/NZ version of the Disney website is of no help as it has not been updated for ages.
Does anyone know if they are still available?

Hi there,

Flight Centre are still selling these passes on their own, I got a price just last week. I was a bit worried because I had been into Harveyworld Travel and they said they are no longer selling them on their own, only with accommodation packages through Disney Hotels.

Hope this helps. We are going to get ours this week for May.:)

Your answer did help, Loveintheland. Thank you.
I have just ordered our passes from Flight Centre.
I was beginning to think we would have to bite the bullet and buy annual passes, but these are about $NZ100 cheaper per adult.
