This wasn't parental choices, this was two stupid kids playing adult.

BTW, thanks for his age because I saw him the other day on the news and thought he looked TEN!

I'm not really convinced that this story is totally true.

I read this story in the New York Daily News over the weekend. Right away when I saw that the picture was from The Daily Sun my radar went up. I don't trust that source much.

Then I looked CLOSELY at the picture. I am almost certain that this story is not true. Firstly, this boy does not look 13. He looks more like he is about 8. See how small his head is? See how little he is? He looks a lot younger than 13.

Then I looked at her. Hmm...her eyes are shaped just like his. Her face has the same shape as his, including the lips. These two kids look like BROTHER AND SISTER. I think that they are a brother and sister. Maybe the baby really is hers, but he looks just like he could be her brother.

Were there any videotape interviews or was this just print interviews (all I've seen so far). I'm wondering if this is some kind of hoax.

I wouldn't doubt it...we get 12 and 13 year old parents a lot where I work...and both would sometimes pass for 10! It is really sad.

I hope there is a child protective agency - and I hope they test her family as well (unfortunately when girls young are promiscuous it could mean abuse in her past - from someone she knows...

The case is getting more and more twists: now, not only a 16 year-old, but also a 14 year-old (!) are claiming that, no, *they* are the real father.

And the 13 year-old is getting rather sniffy about this: "Those other dumb boys are lying. I'm Chantelle's boy friend and we've been going steady for two years. I've got to be the child's father. When I asked Chantelle if I was the father, she answered "yep" and so I believe her."

What the [bleep] is going on here? Three kids fighting over who has bragging rights to having gotten a 15 year-old girll pregnant?

May be may be not 2 more boys have come forward saying that they could be the child's father so the original boy now wants a paternity test.

££££££££££££££ but what ever they get will not be enough to pay for the child support and its been reported neither parent has seen their social workers. Personally to give this child a chance adoption should be considered because they will get bored enough of the child soon enough.
