13 SLEEPS! 13 SLEEPS!

:cheer2:

I'm taking my 8 year old, plus my 3 nephews ages 7,9,11!!!! CAN'T WAIT, CAN'T WAIT, CAN'T WAIT!!!!!

Does anyone know what the weather is generally at Disney World this time of year? Better still - does anyone have a link to a weather reporting site for Orlando so I can monitor it?

Thanks much!
:woohoo:

For current weather go here. And here is a link to the historical weather for Orlando from Dec 1 - 15....or whatever dates you want to look at.

Also, take a look at this thread about what to bring.

We leave in 15 days so we'll be right behind you!

I have been going to www.weather.com and then punch in Orlando. You can get the forecast for the next 10 days. I have found it to be fairly accurate.

11 MORE SLEEPS FOR US!!!! :cool1:

Have a great time!!

If the last 3 weeks are any indication...you are in for a mixed bag....

2 weeks ago it was in the 50's, last week it was humid and as some DIS members mentioned it was sticky and uncomfortable (yes please), then today it was 50's am and then 60's.

We were there a few years ago in Dec and while daytime can get warm enough for shorts and t's, evenings are COLD and watching Fantasmic or fireworks in a wind is freezing!! I would pack for everything.

Guranteed better weather than Ontario!

I'm here now. it's cold!!! It was HOT when we arrived on Friday, but by Sunday it was cool. Mid teens Celsius. We don't have warm enough clothes. I bought a hoodie and socks as well as a towel, and then got a blanket/throw. sitting wathcing parades/Fantasmic they were needed.

So bring fall stuff...it's needed this week. Although it's supposed to be back to the normal temps by the beginning of next week

We are staying at the Beach Club right now. It is cold for sure. We did bring warm hoodies and mitts but a fall coat or windbreaker over the hoodie would have been better. My kids did swim today for about 45 minutes in the heated pool but that was it. We wrapped up in blankets at Magic Kingdom yesterday for Wishes.

But...we woke up to Christmas today. It was a truly magical transformation. :santa:

I think I'm going to need a bigger suitcase to bring some warm clothes ;)

I don't care...... in 9 days I'm going to Disney :cheer2:
