13 Month Annual Pass Renewal Available Every Year?

Hello all,

I have seen a number of posts speaking about a 13 month renewal for annual passes. Is this a limited offering or is it available every year? We typically vacation in April when the kids are on spring break and this year we will be doing a November trip as well. Since our April trip is early this year I'd love to get an Annual pass and be able to visit at least four times in a span of four years (early April 2018, Nov 2018, renew for 13 months and go mid April 2019, Nov 2019 and maybe again April 2020).

Would only work if Disney does this as a normal course of business for renewals but I am not sure if they do, or if this is more of a limited time offering.

The 13 month AP was a special promotion in celebration of the 45th Anniversary of the Magic Kingdom.

The purchase period for NEW Annual Passes ran from 10/1/2016 through 1/3/2017.
The renewal period was originally slated to end on 1/3/2017 also, but Disney extended it to 9/30/2017.

Ahhhh well that is disappointing. it would be great if that became a regular offering to renew.

While I expect that Disney will continue the DVC AP discount, it is a perk that could go away.

The renewal pricing is approx. 15% less than the price of a new AP, so there is already a benefit to renewing.

I have no clue but I doubt they will end something on the start of the fiscal year. My guess it will end the last day of the fiscal year.
