$13 Disney Movies at Target

Check your receipts! 3 of my movies were supposed to be $13 and they rang up $29.99.

I picked up a Mary Poppins with Blu Ray an Digital that appeared to be marked $13, but it rang up $29.99. I had the cashier void it and put it back thinking it my error.

A lot of the movies at my Target were ringing up wrong, but they did a price adjustment for me at the register.

Mary Poppins Blu-Ray is not included in the sale at all according to the Team Members at my store.

I got Pirate Fairy BluRay for $13 and Walking with Dinosaurs BluRay (not Disney) for $10.

Has anyone tried to use the Kellogg's $5 off coupon with this deal? I forgot about it until I got home. Buy 3 boxes of marked Kellog's Disney themed fruit snacks, enter the codes online, get a $5 off coupon. The boxes are about $2 each, but we already buy them anyways, so it's a deal for us. Info here.

For some of the movies (ex: Little Mermaid, Jungle Book, Monsters U, Peter Pan, Tangled, Frozen, Wreck It Ralph, Brave) both the Blu-ray combo set and the DVD are $13. For others, like Mary Poppins and Saving Mr. Banks, it is only the DVD version that is $13.

I just spend waaaaaay too much money at target.com. There were a few movies I had to get on DVD because the blu-rays were only available in store and I try to avoid going to brick & mortar stores but boy were there some good prices.

Thanks for the heads up!

Also at Target, they have Rio dvd and blue ray and digital copy for $10. I think I saw a sign saying some of them include coupons for 2 tickets to see Rio2. I haven't opened mine to see if it is that one. I will have to wait to see it at Easter time. ;)

It has one ticket to Rio 2 at an AMC theatre for up to $8.00. The $10 was the regular DVD at my store. Frozen Blue Ray was $22.99.

I went today and picked up Mary Poppins and Planes, but they were out of Pirate Fairy though they did give me a rain check! I also did get a couple of Barbie DVDs!

My Frozen rang up as $27.99. The woman argued that it was not included in the sale, the guy behind me had a few copies and grabbed the sale tag off the end rack. Really need to watch those prices!

Same thing happened to me. I got Wreck it Ralph yesterday and it rang up $29.99 although the tag said $13. They did do a price adjustment for me at the register. I'm going to go back today to get Pirate Fairy since after I bought Wreck it Ralph my DD who is 3 said she wanted it. I didn't even know she knew what it was. Hopefully it is still in stock. They had a lot yesterday when I was there, so I'm hopeful.

So we stopped back last night to pick up one more blu-ray that we thought we already had, and noticed all of the ad signs for blu-rays had been removed except for Brave. We took a few blu-rays we had bought the previous night for $13 over to the scanner and they all scanned at full price. I am assuming the blu-rays were not supposed to be included and they caught up with their mistake.

A few things:

Evidently most of this was a pretty big screw up and a lot of the movies should not have been $13 for the bluray packs even though they tagged them AND had them listed as such on their website. Amazon price matched SOME but not all of the pricing. Target began updating their systems yeseterday, which is why many were ringing up at full price, but since the website and tags still showed the $13 cost, many people were able to get a price match at the register. My understanding is they fixed it all last night and pulled the plug. Amazon would also no longer be price matching the $13 now that Target raised their prices back up.

I was able to get the Planes bluray from Amazon and Peter Pan and The Jungle Book blurays from Target yeterday each for $13. Girl at the register had to price match the ones at Target, but I had the website up on my phone and she did it with no problem. Anyone who didn't get in on the deal before yesterday is now likely out of luck.

Still, when combined with the $14.99 Winnie the Pooh bluray last week, we were able to get WTP, Planes, PP, and JB all on bluray combo pack for a total of $53.99 before tax or red card discount. That's unreal for Disney blurays. :cool1:

When I went back for Mary Poppins this morning, Frozen had been corrected and was now $27.99 for blu ray pack. Our Target had a great selection of those that are $13 with blu ray though.

Dang, I missed out! I had the Frozen bluray in my cart yesterday online for $13 but couldn't finish my transaction, I had intended to do so today!

Oh well, guess I'll be shelling out $30!

Do you have a Costco membership? I just got the Blu Ray combo w/ the digital copy there today for $15.99. It was marked $23.99, but there was an MIR for $8 off at the register.

I got the Croods on monday and realized when I got home the price was incorrect. By the time i got back to the store yesterday the price had changed. Oh well, still got a few ithers for a good price. Plus i sold the dvds locally and kept the blu-ray. So i really spent about $5 for the blu- ray!

I just wish Target would have posted one of those signs saying there was a mistake with their ad and sorry for the inconvenience. Instead they are changing pricing mid week pretending it didn't happen and we were seeing things. I think Target is hurting. I see signage with discounts and those food coupons, I've never seen at Target before. They've also added a lot of exclusions to their percent off coupons (pharmacy rewards and the infamous we screwed up). As far as I'm concerned, they've got a lot of problems right now.

Thank you for posting! I went to Target last night and picked up Despicable Me 2 BluRay pack for $13. Also got Man of Steel for $7 and the three Lord of the Rings movies for $4 each. Picked up some candy and Easter baskets are covered!

I was able to get Frozen on blu ray for 9.75 yesterday at Target! The assistant manager told me all disney dvds were $13 including blu ray and there was a 25% off frozen on blu ray on cartwheel. What a deal!
