OMG...to die for just as I thought! Everything looks
so heavenly! Now michelle, your not gona tell me you
and yours ate anything on christmas day!!! That meal
shoulda lasted ya all for a week!!:lmao: :rotfl2: :dance3:

Wonderful, wonderful!! Those desserts look like heaven! Thanks so much for all the wonderful detail and those fabulous photos! It is definitely a night you'll never forget. What a wonderful way to spend Christmas Eve with the ones you love.

And great score on the Kona coffee!:thumbsup2

Amazing, just amazing.... It's a good thing I'm still on South Beach or I think I'd be whipping across I-4 right now in search of dreamy V&A desserts!

I can't wait to see what you've got in store for Christmas Day - how do you follow such a repast?!

Whoa. I haven't eaten anything yet because I just woke up and those desserts were calling my name! Geeze, that was like the 9th course for that night! I don't know how you did that ! Can't wait to see how you spend Christmas Day :santa:

Wow, those souffles look amazing! (So does the rest, but souffles are my favorite dessert - I miss the one at Cal Grill). Anyway, great pics! Thanks for sharing!

Wow, those desserts look just amazing. It did look like the most wonderful night. What great memories you have. Merry Christmas.:santa:

Wow Michelle what great deserts as someone else said how did you fit it all in I think I would have wanted desert first just in case  The souffles look amazing!

Death by chocolate . . . if it is at all possible, that's the way I want to go

Very yummy pictures! Sounds like you all had a wondeful Christmas Eve. Can't wait to hear about Christmas Day . . . popcorn::

The Death by Chocolate course is followed up with our full size desserts. Everyone gets something different, and we get to fight for our favorites. It's a good thing were in the back, because I don't think the dining room patrons would appreciate our version of a Celebrity Death Match. Brenna always win the Creme Brulee - she's vicious! Jordan & I both got the Banana Gateau, which is OK by us! Conner got the Grand Marnier Souffle and he wouldn't even let anyone have a taste! Weiner. Last, but certainly not least, our benefactor - DH got the dessert that no one else wanted, the pear and spiced cake. He was OK with that, because he liked the cake. No one is really into poached fruit, I'm afraid. The best part of the pear dish was the sugar encapsulated cherry! It was so cool! It tasted great, too!

I'm finally caught up! I love your description of the "fight" for the desserts. :rotfl: My kind of people, let me tell ya! I LOL when you called Conner a "Weiner"!

I also LOL with the picture Jay sent of your Birthday Cake. (Happy Belated Birthday, BTW!) So - Jay - How was the cake?

Can't wait for Christmas!

This has been a superior TR.:thumbsup2

I'm going to be sad when it ends.

Mornin Michelle....Your christmas day was just what you
guys needed after the huge christmas eve extravaganza.
One thing about disney is run, run, run. Fun, but not all
that relaxing. So, to have a nice restful day enjoying the
villa and your family was just what the doctor ordered!
I'm still having so much fun reading your TR. I will be in
withdrawal big time when its over! I'll survive though by
awaiting your next pre trip report. Have a great weekend!:goodvibes

Sounds like a lovely relaxing day Michelle, it's so funny seeing you all in Jumpers as we only go in August when it's boiling!

Sounds like it was a great Christmas Day! Its always great to have a day to relax.

I don't want it to end either.

This has been a superior TR.:thumbsup2

I totally agree! You have really captured the magic of Disney and made me feel like I was there. I've learned many tips along the way as well. You have a wonderful family.

Sounds like a wonderful christmas. Love the pics of illuminations from your balcony. What a beautiful place. Maybe some day.......

Can I just agree with this also! Great job!

That sounds like a great Christmas Day! Last year was the first time ever we didn't have to jump in the car after Christmas morning gifts and drive two hours to see family, we just stayed home, and it was wonderful! The kids stayed in their PJs all day and we just relaxed. So I think you did the perfect thing, and I can't think of a better place to do that! I'm glad the rain let up for you at the right time.

I'm going to be so sad when this report is over!

I'm really sorry to disappoint you guys, but Christmas Day was kinda low-key for us. After our big night at V&A, we all slept in and didn't really become somewhat human until 11am!
Sounds perfect to me!
But, I completely forgot about that horrible weather we had. We spent most of Christmas Day inside, too.

We had Christmas dinner reservations for 6pm at the Yachtsman Steakhouse...
Hey, the only Christmas I've spent at WDW, we ate at Yachtsman!

Dinner was good, but not fabulous.
Yeah, that was our impression, too.
