Although we're already booked for POR in November, I couldn't help myself this week when I heard about the new public discount. So I've been looking at the travel sites to see if they would drop their rates, too, in response to the Disney discount.

And so far they HAVE.

For those of you who can still use this rate, I thought I'd let you know that as of last night, both Travelocity and Expedia were asking $126 / night for both POR and CBR for different dates in November 2010!

I've seen even lower rates for both resorts (if you pick the "flexible dates" option, you can see all of them), lower than $100 / night if you were to pick August or September.

Thought I would share, in case anyone can use it.

What website can you use the "flexible dates" option?

Hi LSUmom, you can use the "flexible dates" option on both Travelocity and Expedia. I just checked and Expedia is at least still offering these room rates in November.

To find the 'flexible dates' on the web site, you look up a specific hotel on the travel site for the dates you want. Then go to the tab that says "Rooms and rates" or something similar.

You'll see a link that says "Are your dates flexible? Check here" etc. etc.

Then you'll be able to see a 3-month calendar showing when the rates are cheapest for that particular resort.

Good luck!

Cinderella Dreamer, where did you see it for $104 at the beginning of Dec? We'll be there during that time also (going for two weeks) and I might be willing to switch things around if we could get that rate. :thumbsup2

I went to expedia.com and followed Craftsman's directions above to look at the flexible dates. It showed the first 3 weeks Sun - Thursday at $104. It wouldn't let me book though as I had 5 people in my party, and it said we exceeded the max number allowed for the room. :confused3

I hope you can get that!!! Its an awesome rate! Good luck!

That's the weekday rate (sun-thurs) for the first 2 weeks of Dec. The weekend rate is 111. That's the GP discount on WDW website.

AP discount is 5% greater discount and what I have and it's 96/night for Sun-Thurs and 103 for the weekend.
