I stayed there about two years ago. It was ok. We had a room facing the pool and it was very noisy. We then switched to a room facing the parking lot and it was much quieter. They kept the music up very loud by the pool. Universal is not far from there. Maybe five to ten minutes (back streets, not highway). I would have stayed there again but found a better rate at the comfort inn lake buena vista. The "free" breakfast was actually better at the sand lake. The room was clean enough.
