As per the reports.
The kid rode 3 rides, TOT was his second ride. Rides includes Armaggedon and Crush coaster
He reportedely walked to the first aid station after complaining from dizziness.
The staff on duty at the park decided the kid had to be evacuated to Necker Hospital (children hospital) in paris.
The kid was still conscious when he left the park in the SAMU (emergency rescue ambulance)
There is an ongoing investigation into the causes that led to the child being paralyzed. So far there is no indication that his current state is linked to the rides, even though there is probably a link. (still speculations)
Relatives in south-america seemed to report that the kid's health had always been a concern to the family.
Let's remember that warnings are posted at the entrance of some rides, and that children riding must be supervised at all times, meaning parents or custodians are responsible for letting kids ride.
It's unfortunate that this kid suffered such an incident. Still it's very unlikely that the ride is to blame. As was said in the early stage of the investigation, the incident didn't happen to the bunch of people riding with the kid, nor did it happen to the vast quantity of guests who rode TOT that day, or that week, or since the ride opened.
Some years ago, a girl suffered cardiac arrest riding RnRC.
It's unfortunate, but thrill rides are to be avoided if you have a medical condition. And it's especially sad when children are involved, since the condition is often detected when it's already too late.
And Disney's rides are really mild and smooth as compared to what you'll find at Busch's or Cedar Point, or any other theme park.
Please let the investigation follow its course. And I guess it's still safe to enjoy the park
