12 x 12 scanning

Any advice on scanning 12x12 pages with a standard sized scanner? Am I really going to have to scan it from the 4 corners and then Photoshop it together? All that time that I could be scrapping. Foolish techno waste of time.

Mine scans at like 11.8 inches so I just write off the portion at the top or bottom, whatever is least important... I only scan twice and stitch together. If I had to send it in for publication or something, I'd take the time to do all 4 scans, but for just uploading and sharing, I'll do 2.

There are large format scanners available but I think they're out of my price range.

should take two scans and then stitch...

once youdo it a few times it is pretty quick to do and you can multitask that project

or when I am real lazy I take a digital picture - crop it and post it!

What program do you use to stitch it together?
