12/6/08 Eastern ~ ***CURRENT ROSTER pg 68, post # 1007!

Okay, I called DCL to find out if they knew the movies playing yet - she gave me the current list... assume maybe one or two of these will drop off by next month....

College Road Trip
Pirates 3
Swing Vote
Chronicles of Narnia
Wall-E
Miracle at St. Anna
Beverly Hills Chihuahua
Morning something...
High School Musical 3
Bolt (premiering 11/21)

I am looking forward to seeing Wall-E again on the big screen and we have purposely held off on Beverly Hills Chihuahua so we could watch it on the ship. Bolt will be a nice bonus too since we won't have to pay to see it in the theatre... and we did see HSM3 but I wouldn't mind seeing it again. My kids love singing along with the songs.

27 days for us... 4 weeks from now, I'll be wandering around Universal/IOA!!

I looked back at the posts from our last cruise and we got our upgrade on November 28th... and our cruise date was 12/9. I think we got our docs before that because they left us a message telling us to change our room # on our docs that had already been sent...

Ok, my goal once again is to see a movie on the cruise. In 10 cruises we have never seen a movie in a theater on the ship. In fact, we've never seen a whole movie in our room either (usually fall asleep or catch the movie in the middle).

For our 2004 cruise, we received our docs on 11/19 for a 12/9 sail date... so three weeks in advance... I will cross my fingers that we'll get our docs by the end of next week!

Thanks for the pixie dust Disney Lady.....I am slowly feeling better! Hopefully I can get this crud completely knocked out and soon!! :)

Thank you for listing these. I always go see a movie , usually by myself on the last night after everyone including hubby is tucked into bed. It is usually a newer movie and I never get to see adult movies anymore because we got to family movies only since we have no babysitter.

Hannah will be thrilled to see High School Musical( haven't seen) and Beverly Hills Chihauhua( which we have already seen) I am hoping for some Christmas shows to be playing too.

We finally told the kids this morning because Nicholas wanted to take a day off to see a broadway play with an upper grade. They had extra tickets. I didn't want him missing anymore days since we are going to miss 5 school days. They are pretty excited, I told them not to tell the teacher yet until I can write a letter.

Heya Group,

I am myself getting sick, but should be better soon. I have to get started working on the door stuff this weekend. I'm getting more and more excited. I get to use the cruise as an excuse to go clothes shopping! I cannot wait for the cruise.

I am all in favour of the group pictures. Just let me know when we are all meeting up.

I am also totally doing the "British Pub Night". I hear it is alot of fun. I already have an awesome shirt for it.

The big 28 daysare for today (Friday)!:mickeyjum
I want to thank WinoTracy for the info.:thumbsup2 When I got that travel package we were on our way somewhere and I never really read through the "My Cruise Travel Kit" package! When I looked right now, there were the stateroom gifts! You are amazing also about the room as I looked today and the room number wass not there! You have saved the day! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you:thanks: !:goodvibes I will now go read the booklet THOROUGHLY. I will try, now, to be more patient.
For Frdep1999: I think I might have to share the pixie dust :tink:pixiedust: as my DH has a rip roaring cold and I am sneezing.....Just so it gets over by the cruise. The interesting thing is that DS (Basil Fox) who lives 40 minutes away from me (and who I have not seen for a few weeks) has a sore throat and probably is getting a cold, too. I have talked to him on the phone so maybe germs travel by phone???? LOL  Hope you feel better Basil Fox and Frdeb1999!
Thanks again to Joy:smickey: for getting the movies. I want to see Beverly Hills Chihuahua, High School Musical 3 and Bolt!!! Now there is even more to look forward to..... And, on the BIG Screen outside or in the theatre, it doesn't matter. How do we fit that in between tastings, towel folding, etc????
So, everyone......Thank you again for being so wise and sharing.....As, I think I have said before--we have friends that we have not met yet! How cool is that?:grouphug:
Have a Magical :wizard: Day! I even found a rubber stamp that says that. Lady Disney princess:::MinnieMo

Okay gang, I need to start finalizing the "yearbook" for our cruise, so please update any info you might have for your traveling group. The form is at http://www.tastytidbits.net/machform/view.php?id=11

If anything has changed, please resubmit the form... Deadline will be next Friday the 14th. If you haven't submitted a photo and still want to, please email that to me as well. I'll have the yearbook and the wristbands available to you for pickup from me in the terminal or at the sailaway party. You all can figure out what I look like right? :)

I got a baaaaad feeling about this...

So last month, the Eastern got modified due to Hurricane Omar.

Today, they moved the entire Eastern cruise this week to a double dip Western due to Hurricane Paloma.

Whatever hurricane starts with Q better not mess with MY cruise!

Though I wouldn't mind a double dip, or another visit to Cozumel... or even Nassau for that matter... but a change in itinerary royally messes with my carefully laid out plans for Palo, pirate night, dining rotation, etc. It's a bit freaky to note that the Easterns are the ones affected by hurricanes!

And yes, I know hurricane season officially ends on 11/30... but still....
