12/6/08 Eastern ~ ***CURRENT ROSTER pg 68, post # 1007!

Welcome beerhider!!! How cool is it that there is a board just for our cruise?? I'm totally addicted. :surfweb:

I'm sure your boys will have a blast and will meet other kids their age onboard. We are taking our daughter but I think she's a little young for your sons..............she's 6! :rotfl: Anyway, just wanted to say hey and welcome you to the thread! See you in December! :cool1:

Thanks! Maybe your daughter will meet my neices (8 and 5!) Looking forward to December!!:goodvibes

All you cruisers with little girls in the 5-7 age range -- we should get our daughters to start penpal-ing right now. They will already be familiar with each other by the cruise and become fast friends in the club!

My Sarah is 6, just started 1st grade, loves Hannah Montana, all the Disney Channel shows (Wizards of Waverly Place, That's so Raven, Suite Life, etc) and the Jonas Brothers, Camp Rock, etc. She likes to sing and draw and is a certified Chicken McNugget freak. :) If you have a shy child, my kid will take care of bringing her out of her shell!

My son is 9 and will be happy just having a place to hang out and play videogames or whatever... :)

Hi Everyone,

Haven't been on here in a while. First thing. Welcome to all New Cruisers. I'm Cassie. I'm counting down the days till cruise time. I'm thrilled that were being a couple of weeks before christmas. I'm taking a college class along with my senior high school schedule and I know I'll need the break. I might have to bring homework along with me :scared1: :sad2: Oh well though. I'll live.

Well. Thats all really. Don't know what else to say. :rolleyes1 :rotfl: Hi Mom! :yay: (My mom is frdeb1999 for those who don't know) :rotfl2:

Well hope everyone has a great weekend.

-Cassie:cool2:

I am so excited about our upcoming trip that I am trying out the forums! MY sister (Latas) go me interested, so now I'm hooked! Can't wait for December!:yay: This trip will be joined by Mom and Sis with my nieces. Great fun!

I have two DS - one 14 and one 15 - all about meeting girls! :lovestruc
I am hopeful they will be able to meet other kids this cruise. Last time, August 2007, we did a four day and it was overwhelming as the time flew by!!. But we had a blast!
I hope they have more time to socialize this time! Anyone out there with teenage boys who might like to offer advice? And anyone coming from the MA area?

Hi! I've been talking to your sister on here and on myspace. So welcome to the fun.

Your sons are all about meeting girls huh. :) Thats adorable. I assume they'll be in the Stack. I was in the teen club last time we cruised and thought it was quite boring really. I'm sure they'll meet other kids. Me I'm excited that I'll be able to enjoy the adult clubs. Don't worry, I'm not a person who gravitates toward bars either. I'm not legal for that. I like dancing, watching the hilarious karaoke :rotfl2: , and having fun.

And don't worry. My older sister and I did abit of arcade time. It can be addicting from time to time. :rolleyes1

---------------------------------------------------------------------

frdeb1999:I deffinately don't know where mine get their shy side either!! Deffinately not me!

 Hold the milk and cookies. Just to put out there. I'm not the shy one of my family. :cool1: I mean, I can be quite from time to time but I'm not shy. I'm the outgoing one. :woohoo: :)

That's a great idea. My DD will be newly 8 (her b-day is Halloween) and she is actually a bit concerned b/c her brother(4) and alaskanmommy's DD(6)will be in the Oceaneer's Club and she is going to be in the Oceaneer's Lab. So, anyone have 8-12 year olds who want to pen pal it PM me, she'd love to connect. She is into all the things typicall little girls like but she is also great with boys. She seems to have picked up on pokemon cards:confused: ...which amazes me b/c I really don't get them???

Hey! :snooty:

I was into pokemon cards when I was her age. I had a rather large collection. Didn't understand them at first and I barely remember how to play. Its been awhile. Pokemon cards rock at that age. :cool2:

My dd 12 is worried about the same thing Reneeaiko....she turns 13 Oct 6th and is worried that she won't have anyone to hang out with either. She's into pretty much the same things as your daughter. And she's honestly not into all the teen stuff yet. Although I don't know if they'll allow her in the Lab. We were told we'd have to speak to the counselors when we inquired....which we had to do with my oldest dd so she could go into the stack with my middle dd. Was'nt a problem....just has to do with how many of that age group are there. Don't know if thats too old for your dd...totally at your discretion. But Kennedy would most likely love being able to know someone in advance. Just let me know.

Mia would probably enjoy passing letters with your DD. Your DD will have to be a little understanding, Mia is of course just learning to write and read. I was told she could probably (if there was room) go into the Club but I really think that keeping her and brother seperate would be the best for everyone. The bummer is that she will be sad to not be with alaskanmommy's DD. That's why I am trying to reach out to other potential Lab members. I'll PM you our address.

My son is 9 and is into Pokemon but he's getting to that age where girls are icky (except for sis), so I'm not sure if he'll be all that into getting to know her :( Oh the drama....
